My form is going to soon become as long as my spreadsheet!! Only those that truly read everything and include all dates will be added. It's like passing some university test

Hint heavily of dire consequences of NVC checklists if they don't perfect using your form. Heck... send them false checklists as well to toughen their skins.

I'm afraid by the time you pull all the stops to insure yourself against liabilities, your charges will go through the roof just to stay afloat. Start with a small businesses class if you're serious about it.

Does anyone knows which date scanned that NVC processing now? My last package has been scanned into the system on June 16. I am so worry because the PCC will be expired on July 28. Do they send me a checklist for new PCC? Its really bad if I got a checklist for that instead of bring it to the interview.

I haven't seen plain vanilla CCs yet today. Last I've seen was a June 6th scanner on Friday. June 7-8 fell on a weekend.

If you can prove financial duress as in you have to houses to keep one in the USA the other your wife and baby and it's becoming a burden they might expedite your case. Good luck to you.

I have been very tempted to start issuing "checklists" of my own for not filling the form out properly. But, I'd have to create a separate account to PM folks as my inbox would get full extremely quickly! I'm already at like 80% full

Haha, I can have different certificates based on filling my form out correctly, having a filled out signature, an updated timeline, and making it through NVC without checklists (due to using all the information provided here)

And yeah, the only thing really holding me back from seriously looking into it is the legal aspect of being able to give consultation/advice.

When to call NVC to confirm if the submitted DS-261 is already showing in their system? Because I just called and told me it's not showing yet and call after 2-4wks! I just wanna make sure that it went thru because there are people here saying that they resubmit after a month because they just found out that it's not yet in NVC.

So sorry that you have to stay so long at USCIS, this process is really a long and tough process, enough to drive one crazy. Don't worry my dearest friend, all this will soon be over and very soon you'll be with your husband. You are in my prayers.

July 29th is our 30th business day since July 4th was a holiday.

If I were you, I would stop responding directly to posts all day, everyday, and initiate instead a weekly Ask-Saylin webinar, or announce you'll only answer questions posted during a certain day of the week. Let us, your lieutenants, deal with the rest of round the clock traffic. If we get mystified, we'll tell the poster "we'll get back to you in 5 business days" or refer him to the "supervisor" if it's urgent.

I tried to ask Rep on the phone about the different on review the EP and non-EP, but they didnt say a word ...

A VJer did it with EP (AOS/IV sent on June 3rd, one day ahead of me), and he got P4 (email with interview date) last week...

NVC just make no sense....

Since EP was slower than mailing packages, many people decided to mail packages instead.

However, rumor has it that EP is faster now since fewer people are enrolled in EP for this reason.
