hey guys I really need someone to answer a few question, specifically someone from the Philippines who just had his/her interview and someone who is related to my case IR1 and IR2

1. what are the necessary documents that I should bring on the day of our interview?

2. do I need to bring police clearance? or just the NBI clearance?

Visa APPROVED!!!!!! Everything went well. I was super nervous and my husband was not lol. They allowed me to be with him at all times, except when it was time for the interview I couldn't say anything

Got done with the biometrics today and now its the last phase of this ordeal,the Interview,which is tomorrow.

Stupid question here, but does the embassy ever send any mail directly to applicant? I could of sworn I had read that they forward all the documents to the applicant after the nvc sent the information to the embassy, or has that changed...or maybe I am just making things up >.>

Hey, all the best and good luck wishes for your interview.

Your interview is at which consulate? Can you also tell me, who sent the interview letter the physical copy to you, is it the consulate or NVC? And did you schedule biometrics before receiving the physical copy or after it?

I never got any physical interview letter from consulate.

i have been using the copy of interview letter received via mail for the medicals,biometrics and plan to do same for the interview

Is that even they schedule interview , they do not send the email on the same date right ?

Our attorney said they like to see the petitioners - it shows that they care enough to get themselves over to the beneficiary's country.

If the interview letter says to bring passport photos, then bring passport photos. The photos have to be "recent", and many of us have been so damned long in this process the photos are older than 6 months. Julie still had 3 passport photos in her packet - and they STILL took the new photos and used those for her visa.

My problem with attending the interview is that I don't have that much vacation to be there for the interview and then wait till my wife gets the visa and come over with her (which I have to do to help with our daughter on the plane). It worries me because I want to help her chances at the interview as much as I can, so I'm in a bind and don't know what to do. I'm thinking of coming about 2 weeks later and then flying back with them.

I saw someone posted on the other thread that the email comes the day they set the interview. I don't know if that's the case now. We'll see :)
