I used C4C also to get our interview date. When we finally got it, our C4C was set to refresh every 5 seconds. I missed a July 14 date because 30 seconds was too long.

Zedayn my friend when you see the dates did you press the continue from the upper left of your dash board? it happens to me 2 times now. At 3pm and 9pm today there are opening slot for july 18. When I press continue its gone like totally gone. :crying::crying::crying: . I am very frustrating now.

One last question. My concern is based on my NOA2 our approval noticed is valid from April 22 to Aug 21, 2014. Im worry I still don't have my appointment date. If I got slot for Aug? Am I getting into trouble? Is there any possible to extend our petition?

Not a problem, the embassy will automatically extend the validity of the petition for up to a year. You are fine.

Don't worry. The embassy will automatically extend your petition approval up to a year as long as they see you're application is active. I'm pretty sure you'll catch an interview date soon anyway!

Zedayn my friend when you see the dates did you press the continue from the upper left of your dash board? it happens to me 2 times now. At 3pm and 9pm today there are opening slot for july 18. When I press continue its gone like totally gone. :crying::crying::crying: . I am very frustrating now.

When you saw the dates, they were likely from cancellations and only 1 date. Someone probably just beat you to it. Yes when you see a date, you will click continue at the top. In my case, when I saw the date, the embassy was actually releasing more July dates, so mine wasn't a cancellation. When I booked for July 15, there were dates available for July 15, 16 and 17. So I guess if more dates show available at once, its more likely to be quick enough to snag a date. And by the way, all those July dates I mentioned were gone in less than 5 minutes.

When I saw the date, I clicked continue at the top. It went to the payment screen where I already input the MRV receipt, so I clicked next. Then it took me to the calendar page where I chose the date and selected the time of 7:30, then clicked next. The next page was the confirmation that my appointment was scheduled. So basically when your C4C goes off, you will click continue at the top left, click next at the bottom of your payment page, hurry and select your date and time, and hurry and click next. You will have to be quick...which is why its suggested to have your c4c refreshing almost constantly.

They should be releasing more dates soon, probably Monday or Tuesday of next week Manila time. Keep a strong eye out and keep your C4C checking, and for sure you will get a date soon! Have faith, good things come to those who wait.

jhammin,

Yes, don't give up. Memorize where the buttons are so that you can go as fast as you can. Also, hopefully, your internet connection is good without any lagtime. I would suspect people are missing appts due to slow computer response times...just be persistent and good luck!

When using C4C set the refresh time somewhere between 2 and 4 seconds. That's what others have reported that worked for them. Anything more and others will snag the date before you. Just keep at it. Your date will appear and you too will have an appointment.

Don't even worry about it. The embassy knows you are actively pursuing a visa (you paid the visa fee and you scheduled your interview) so its automatically extended. You already have your interview date, congrats!!!
