For those who went to SLEC for their medical recently, did you have to go there the following day?

Almost always, based on what I read here. The few who got it done in one day went on a Thursday or Friday and got there super early, like 2 AM. And even that is not a guarantee.

Expect and plan for two day SLEC visit. If your in the front of the line there is a good chance you will only have a one day visit but that's only if everything flows properly and no complications like delays in your process. Plan for two days but if you finish in one.... Hey it's happy days.

Hi everybody but for the ones doing cr1 we have to wait for the embassy letter right before we can do ours I believe would someone shed some light on that

My total SLEC medical exam was 3 days in total. Had to go back 2 - 3 weeks later after my vaccine shots because there was 1 shot that was not available when I went to get my shots. So better get it while I'm still in the Philippines than pay for the shot when I get to the US (from what I've read it's crazy expensive).

You only need to have the letter from NVC, not USEM.

2nd day is results and vaccinations (if all is good)

No. If I remember correctly they will tell you what time to come back, but for sure you don't need to be there at 5AM

They told me to go back 8:00 am (if I remember correctly) the following day for my vaccination. I got the results the same day and by that time it was already at 6:15 pm.

My fiancée had to go both days. The second day they told her to come back at 8:30am.

The second day you are assigned a specific time to come back, typically somewhere between 7:30 AM and 9:00 AM. As is the case with the first day, it is mostly waiting. So be patient and it will get done. You should get out in early to mid afternoon.

If they make you come back weeks later for a shot, you can opt to pay for it in the US instead of waiting. That is what Candy and I chose to do. If you go to a public health clinic instead of a private doctor, it will only be about $50 or so, not too bad considering the thousands I already spent to get this done.
