I am currently filling out the forms to send my i-129f out soon..... I filled out the form, wrote two letters of intent (one for me, one for my fiance), wrote both g325-a forms (one for me, one for my fiance), have proof of meeting, passport photos, proof of citizenship.

here is what i need to know. i am going to mail the completed g-325a and letter of intent to my fiance for him to SIGN/DATE and mail it back to me ....what else do i need to send him to sign and send back to me? i know he needs to send me a passport like photo also. is there anything else he needs to send me to complete the i-129f? i wanted to fill out all the paperwork myself to make sure it was alll done correctly (his english isn't 100% yet) i've checked the guides and i seem to be good but i wanted to check with you all before i made the final decision to mail everything to him and realize i forgot something.

thanks in advance!

My fiance doesn't speak English at all so I filled all the papers out for him and signed one copy for him so he'd know what to do.

You can also complete them together over the phone or send "instructions" via e-mail

It's a bit more difficult but a lot of us do it.

Make sure you sign all four copies of the G-325A for each of you.

I printed the "instructions" for the I-129F off the USCIS website and used a highlighter to check off everything that was asked for before I mailed the I-129F.

Good luck.

You are at the same stage I am at and I am doing the same thing, filling out the forms/letters and having him sign and return together with passport photo... someone suggested emailing the form letter but I don't know if K would know how to put his own information in the blanks using the computer - he doesn't have a PC at home, only goes to cybercafes so don't know if they can handle PDFs... I am FedExing him a birthday present anyway so it's easy to just include the forms for him to fill out.

Though he does not need to sign the I-129F you need to have his name and address in his native language written. So unless you can write the arabic form of this info, send it for him to write also.

Also remind him to keep the outside evelope showing your address and his with stamp and date as evidence of communication for the inteview!

You might consider the idea of having him send a certified copy of his birth certificate because they sometimes ask for it. At least when you got one on hand, it will be easy to send it if they asked for it. Just my .02 :) By the way, we did fine using post-it notes for instructions and step-by-step guides.

thanks guys! i did the post-it note thing too... i even printed out an example form and signed it so he could see what it would look like. hehe :) i feel bad because its pretty self explanatory but knowing my luck (and since his english isn't 100%) he'd do it wrong and i'd have to send it back.

good idea about keeping the envelope i send it in... i'll remind him but luckily he is the kind of person who keeps every souvenir of me. when i went back to visit he had everything i had ever given him or left there. including the package i sent him last time. if it were me, i would have thrown it all away. whew :)
