You could always have her write something in her native language and get it translated. You may want that for the interview anyway.

Aww, man that sucks... I hope you found more documentation and everything is smooth sailing for you guys from here on out. I thank my divine guides and protectors that I saved my boarding passes, bank statement and even an ATM receipt from my trip - they must have known that we would get married and need to go through this process even if I didn't at the time - I just like to save everything as a souvenir I think I even have the tattered copy of my itinerary on travel agent letterhead with phone numbers and addresses(in KTM) and maybe even a few mantras scribbled all over it - here's ya proof dammit!!! I just spoke to my guy and he will be sending his docs to me - I am hoping to file on Sivaratri, which happens to fall on Valentine's Day this year - an auspicious start for us I hope...

Last Saturday I mailed the RFE docs and now it is Thursday with no return receipt and no touch… I'm getting antsy again but am trying hard to control myself… and am again checking the USCIS site numerous times every day…put that on hold while waiting for the RFE to come.

Sometimes its good to be a packrat! I tend to chuck everything without an immediately, specific purpose so I was lucky at least to have the docs I found!
