i got an appointment about 2 hrs ago for my fiancee for july 21. only two slots were available. last week i set up 'auto refresh plus' to refresh the dashboard every 10 seconds and sound an alarm when 'available' was triggered. i'm using google chrome. i also installed 'page monitor' which will sound an alarm whenever there's any change on a web page. i've been running these 22 hours a day at home and work. i was just closing down my other open windows tonight when the page monitor alarm sounded. the auto refresh alarm should have also sounded, but didn't. i jumped on it within couple of seconds and had it confirmed in about 30 seconds.

good luck you guys

CR-1 is a spousal visa (already married) IR-1 is a spousal visa (only they have been married longer) K-3 is another type of spousal visa (which isn't used often)

K-1 is a fiancee visa (getting married in the USA)

The I-134 is not submitted with the I-129F, your fiance needs to complete the I-134 and send it to you for the interview (also need a copy of his most recent tax return and W-2)

Are you pertaining about the cd from st.lukes? With label CR-1? It means the machine used for xray. Not the type of your visa.

Hey there,

Just a thought, my fiance called manila yesterday and they said she could schedule an interview if she wanted but suggested she wait till we get the letter. My point for U is that u may be able to get ur interview with a phone call instead of online. Give it a try. (02) 982-5555 and (02) 902-8930. Since I have u, We recieved a letter from NVC on July 16 telling me our approved petition was sent to Manila and to do the DS-160 in the meantime. So she did the app and called Manila and they said she could schedule her interview but to wait for appt letter before scheduling interview otherwise we might get denied. So how long after ur petition was sent to manila did u have to wait for letter? and should I wait to pay the fees for an invoice in the mail? I just noticed a post on here saying not to wait for mail but instead to do it online myself....Any help pleassssssssseeeeeeeeeeeeee

All your answers are contained in Hank's nifty difty all in one K1 guide. Click on this link and select the tab "NVC - USEM Process" for you and walk down the list step by step and low and behold you will have your visa in hand with little or no problems.

By the way. Everything can be done online for your scheduling and such so I would leave the phone lines open to USEM for others who have larger pressing problems who are trying to contact the USEM. The whole visa process is simple and you can do it for yourself. If you have questions return here and many will help.

Do NOT wait for the letter from embassy, they rarely arrive... gotta love PhilPost.

If you have your MNL # then it is ROCK n ROLL time!

A lot easier doing the scheduling online, and you for sure will not get denied for scheduling without the letter.. jeez who the heck told you that (a reject from working at CFO?)

There is no invoice that arrives in the mail.

Follow the flashing arrow below, then click the link... more details there.

Of course you can book your appointment by phone, but how do you think the embassy books it for you? They go online! They go to the same scheduling page you see when you try to book online. Also don't wait for the letter (my fiancée still never received it...surprisingly I did though in the US). Once you have your MNL #, go pay your visa fee, make your profile online and get your interview scheduled!

Hey everyone. Thanks for the great info! Another question. I tried scheduling interview online 22 hours after my fiancé made the payment at BPI. The receipt number she gave me is a 4 digit number that's coming up invalid! Could I have the wrong number? My fiancé also said there are many numbers on her receipt slip but the teller circled the 4 digit. Also, when I log into her profile, it says my dashboard but im wondering if shes not in the system yet cause its not really a personal dashboard of hers. I hope u can help once again..Thanks

The receipt number is 9 digits long. You are entering the wrong receipt number. Look here for an example of the receipt you should have, and the location of the receipt number: http://www.k1-visa.net/cms/Home/After-Filing-the-K1/INTERVIEW/Pay-My-Visa-Fee

If you have created her profile, then she is in the system and you can schedule her interview. As soon as you enter the correct receipt number, you can proceed to the scheduling calendar.

Yup you have a wrong number, should be a 9 digit number.

Note receipt number in upper right.

Not really a personal dashboard?? Who's name shows on the dashboard if not hers?
