My fiancée had her interview on June 12. She was told it was approved and would get it in a week.

I checked usvisa-info.com and stated no waybill at this time. Called the 703 number and they said they would email embassy.

I checked website today and still no waybill. I check ceac for case status and it stated "ready" and that I could schedule my interview.

Is this normal?

Dont worry your visa will be issue soon.

Continue checking the status on ceac, once you read issued that mean the visa was printed.

If the status says ready the visa isnt printed yet.

Does it make a difference that I get "ready" when I put my case number and "no status" when I put new and old DS 160 application number?

give it a week or so - the visa packet has to move into the mailroom at the IV Unit.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
