My fiancee went to the CFO and had lots of papers and pictures. In the end they told her she needed to now e mail all the information and pictures that were presented and comeback then. Has anyone else told to do that? It sounded likes she had everything!

That is a first. I have never heard of having to email everything to CFO after presenting the documents at the seminar... very weird.

Is you fiancee a quiet and shy person? I ask because CFO tends to "mess with" the shy and quiet type person.

She can get quiet and shy if it is in English, but I would think at the cfo it was in tagalog. I am not sure if she got quiet yesterday. When she wakes up I will ask her, my report was through a cousin who went with her to the CFO.

Agreed with Hank. This is the first time I've heard of a CFO counselor asking for a scanned copy of whatever document they ask for. But then again, if they're asking for more information or documents, it all depends on how the one-on-one with the counselor went. They tend to pick on both the shy and arrogant ones.

I had to send my Fiance my divorce papers from my first wife, and in the divorce papers

the judge ordered me to pay for some medical bills that my ex had incurred while we

were seperated. Well, the wisdom of the CFO took that as meaning I beat and abused

my exwife and they had called my fiance in a seperate room and tried to tell her that

I was an abusive person and she shouldn't marry me. They had her in there for nearly

20 mins. They eventually gave her the CFO certificate but what the hell over?

When we did the CFO IN 2007, my fiancée then had to go back again with a letter from both hospices to prove why there was a delay when the doctors signed my 2nd and 3rd wives Death Certificates! Both of my wives had died at home under hospice care due to brain cancer and breast cancer! They made me feel like a criminal! Since that time I have zero respect for CFO in the Philippines! What gives these Azzholes the right to pry in my past marriages ??

That never happened to me, although I had with me everything that I took with me during my Embassy interview: divorce papers, photos, etc. They didn't ask anything from me. Was the CFO seminar done in Manila? During my interview at the CFO, we spoke in Tagalog, so no problem there. Actually, I think all of the interviews were done in Tagalog as I have noticed.

Did the cousin went with your fiancé as well? In CFO Manila, only those who are required to attend the seminar are allowed inside the seminar room. The rest can wait at a waiting room at the CFO basement (as what I was told). I've heard a lot of bad stories about CFO, very blessed I had no problems with them.

But anyway, if they do ask for you to email the documents, then you don't have any choice but to send them. You wouldn't want any problem with them, otherwise they may not give the certificate and the sticker to your fiancée - we are at their mercy unfortunately.

Did my cfo seminar in Manila for my new passport and was told to go back because I didnt have the NSO copy of our marriage cert yet.My counsellor didnt want me to just email it to her or send it via a courier service.I would have done it as I am from the Visayas but she wanted me to bring it personally.I got my certificate this month so this case is kind of weird to me.Everybody who has missing documents the day of my seminar was advised to go back and bring the docs personally.

Annabel met with Charlotte Ramos at the CFO that day, she was the one requesting the info to be e mailed in and at this point we have sent it to her. We have not gotten an e mail back from her and so we will be calling and e mailing on Monday. We are very close to the day we had scheduled her to fly!
