Touched every day?

Its been long time since I received the touch, I get bored with that, It makes 6 months I dont see my lovely husband,but we have to thank God to have money to pay the phone bill and ask He to give us very much patience.

I just checked again and it "touched" again. Now the update date says "01/16/07".

We got another touch (see signature) again today as well - pretty early too considering it's 10:15am here on the east coast (7:15am in Cali). I guess the CSC starts work pretty early?

Congratulations on getting action on your petition. This is just an ongoing sign that your petition is in process, but dont get too excited, they can take a long time to approve the petition even after many touches. Hoping the approval comes soon and that the two of you can be together soo, cause it is awesome when it finally happens!

Yep, we're only about 1 month into our I-129 process so I know it's a little too early to hope for an approval just yet. Not from the CSC anyway. Now if we were going through VSC...

Like everyone else on here we're just waiting and looking forward to being together.

It's a bit disappointed to see the CSC times creeping up again. A short while ago they were down to 88 or 92 days but today they're at 110 days. I know it's expected for them to go up and down as time passes but while the CSC rises the VSC is sitting steady at 32 days.

Question: Given that the processing times at the VSC are 3x faster than the CSC, why don't they balance the load a little more evenly?

Ouch. Long delay - and then nothing for 2 months!???

Hmmm!? Congrats to everyone's progress....

One thing I have to ask is the link to where I could check the status of my case.

I have signed in on this one link when I received my NOA1 - I-130...

Since then I have been able to view my I-130's status - which is a one liner stating exactly what

I have in my NOA1 - that they received my petition in Dec 12/13/2006 'I130 IMMIGRANT PETITION FOR RELATIVE, FIANCE(E), OR ORPHAN' in California CS.

I know that I130 takes forever going through CSC - however; today I receive my NOA1 - I129F, I-797C (from Chicago of all places not Missouri) - I logged into the same link and there is no reference to all that has happened ..... Back to may question is there another link that I should be registering or is it that my case is just in the mud?

It's hard to tell what touches mean at this point......processing, transfereing, Rfe,'s....But atleast you're seeing some action.

If i try to asemble pears with pears and apples with apples...the silence treatment of the touches among others my theory is that what we perceive as "preparing" (question, yes but how?)...might be they put our names in different name checks systems, as described in Aussiewhench's provile (she has a link to relate to to each level of service); it's consistent because they can not e-mail us all the time what each touch means and it might mean that...
