Birth Certificate for Petitioner

I just realized my birth certificate (I'm the US petitioner) is the short form version, so my parents' names aren't listed. I'm leaving for Fiji in the morning for our interview on Monday. Is this birth certificate going to be an issue? My Fiance (beneficiary) has his birth certificate with his parents' names, so he is fine.

Thoughts?

USCIS wanted to see a copy of it - but approved the petition anyway.

if you want to fret - get on the plane already and have a buddy or relative get the long form version - scan it - and email it around,

as

the IV unit will take a copy of this - not need to see the petitioner's original birth certificate.

But - if USCIS already approved the I-129F petition - I say it's a moot issue, as you've already proved up yer USCitizenship status with them, prior, some way, some how. And They Liked You !

I had sent a copy of this same version (without parents' names) to USCIS for the petition and it was approved. I was thinking the same thing...just having last minute jitters  Thanks for calming me down about it.

If the consulate wants more proof of your citizenship for some reason, you have your US passport. It also works for that.
