Does anybody knows the meaning of these? ..This is for my son's immigrant visa application. What do I need? Am I in trouble? I stayed in Philippines one month after my mother gave birth to me in US, until I graduated college. The SHE is referring to me.Thank you in advance.

Dear Immigrant Visa Applicant:

We are unable to complete the processing of your immigrant visa application under Section 221(g) of the Immigration and Nationality Act (INA), as amended, until you present the following documents or complete required action from your end:

do you qualify as a USCitizen by the location of your birth? If yes, I not understand why a visa is being chased.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !

So since you were one month old and through college you were in the Philippines - provide proof as asked.

I applied for IR1 and IR2 visa for my husband and my son. Today was their interview and they told my husband that they need to call me to confirm the dates that I was in the Philippines. Because they want to see if my son is eligible for an immigrant visa, or he will be automatic US citizen. I know he will not be qualified for the citizenship because I grew up in philippines. That's why I decided to Apply him for an immigrant visa instead. Are they going to ask some proofs or they just want to speak to me. Thank you so much for all your responds.

do you qualify for the 5 year rule? have you been in the USA for 5 years or no? it's really specific --even rules about WHEN the 5 years occurred -

so

that's the hunt that the Vice-Consul is on. If you meet the qualification - then you can shift to CRBA for your son instead of the visa.

Now - with that said - why in heck did you not provide this info with the I-130 or the civil doc submission into NVC ? I'm not scolding you about it - but it IS something - that if done prior - would have not triggered this extra work after the interview.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
