NOA2 finally!! Fill out I-864 and print out?

Finally got my NOA2 yesterday!! NVC here we come!!

I printed out I-864/ got a joint sponsor (my sister) she filled out a I-864, as did I...but I have a few questions...can I print it out, and have it completely ready? or do they send me an I864 for me to fill out with a bar code? When should I start calling to see if I have a case number?

Every empty spot should I put a N/A ??? I did this for the I-130...

How long overall does NVC usually take??

06-25-2014: AOS fee invoiced and Paid

06-28-2014: AOS packet sent via Priority mail express(received on 07-01-2014)

07-03-2014: AOS packet scanned

08-02-2014: IV bill invoiced

08-14-2014: IV bill paid

08-18-2014: IV packet sent priority mail( received by NVC 8-20-14)

08-20-2014: DS-260 completed online

08-22-2014: IV packet scanned

10-11-2014: case complete :thumbs::dance:

11-26-2014: Interview Date in Ankara, Turkey

11-10-2014 medical in Ankara, Turkey-recieved results next day(11-11-14)

11-26-2014 Interview 221 g orange slip given. They want to see original marriage certificate(red book)

Go ahead and print the I-864 you have already completed, submit it along with the supporting documents after the bill shows "PAID" in the payment portal.

You can call to see if you have a case number anytime but I usually suggest people wait at least one week to allow time for the file to be transferred.

July 26, 2011: Received NOA2 via text/email!!!
July 30, 2011: Received NOA2 hardcopy in mail
August 8, 2011: NVC received file
September 1, 2011: NVC case number assigned
September 2, 2011: AOS invoice received, OPTIN email for EP sent
September 7, 2011: Paid AOS bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 9, 2011)
September 8, 2011: OPTIN email accepted, GZO number assigned
September 10, 2011: Emailed AOS package
September 12, 2011: IV bill invoiced
September 13, 2011: Paid IV bill (payment portal showed PAID on September 14, 2011)
September 14, 2011: Emailed IV package
October 3, 2011: Emailed checklist response (checklist generated due to typo on Form DS-230)
October 6, 2011: Case complete at NVC
November 10, 2011: Interview - APPROVED!!!
December 7, 2011: POE - Sea-Tac Airport

September 17, 2013: Mailed I-751 to CSC

September 23, 2013: Received NOA1 in mail (receipt date September 19th)

October 16, 2013: Biometrics Appointment

January 28, 2014: Production of new Green Card ordered

February 3, 2014: New Green Card received; done with USCIS until fall of 2023*

December 18, 2023:  Filed I-90 to renew Green Card

December 21, 2023:  Production of new Green Card ordered - will be seeing USCIS again every 10 years for renewal
