Be Aware of the PDOS Requirement

I am finding out more about the PDOS situation in Cebu. We carefully read the requirements of what was needed and my fiancee brought everything that is listed on the website. Once there they started asking for information needed in the original visa application such as proof of our relationship. photos, my divorce records. All of these were attempts to get more money unless they could be provided. Luckily my fiancee is very organized and had all this material at her cousin's house where she was staying, but had to return the next day to get the sticker. After paying "extra fees" for getting one of the slots for each day (that are not reserved) even though she was one of the first in line.

None of that is attempts to get money, those things are asked for all the time at CFO.

Click my link below this post then go to the CFO tab for details...

Please report the name of the person that "took money" for reserving a slot.

My fiancee just successfully completed her CFO seminar in Cebu. I suggested she have every scrap of paper that pertains to our K-1 filing available. Also, it was very fortunate I heard my incoming smartphone IM's at 4am EST, as there was some rather odd questions having nothing to do with her CFO seminar, such as name of my parents, place they were born, birth dates and a few other off topic subjects... She passed with no further problems, but she also said some others flunked due to lack of proper paperwork. I don't know what would have happened if I wasn't available to take her questions and reply instantly....Rob

The typical question regarding your parents is they what to know the maiden name of your mother.

Like Hank said they usually are looking for your mother's maiden name. That's been the trick question along with landline phone number that they have been using for the last year. Don't know why other than they think it proves a relationship.

To answer your question " I don't know what would have happened if I wasn't available to take her questions and reply instantly" they would have failed her. She then would have to return and try again or go to the Manila location. I think some of the others who failed did so because of paperwork errors, landline question, not confident, lack of information to other questions about their relationship or the names of the parents question. Just my 2 cents.

Well with your help she passed so the journey continues. Good luck.

I am so excited for the cfo seminar after reading what it is for especially for us Filipina who opt to stay in a foreign place because of love.. to those who have rants or something about it, ask those who took the seminar if they really understood or.learned from it... Bribery? It's everywhere and it's all up to you if you'll go for it or not!
