I am confused as well, your profile states you are K-1 been a mention since 2008, your timeline is blank so I don't have a clue what you are doing with checklists from NVC. What visa are you chasing?

Call or email NVC - nvcinquiry@state.gov, false checklists are an inherent part of the process. However, they were specific, so it warrants attention, again.

Ya I think they made a mistake, but that is just my opinion, no fact. I am not well versed on the I-130 immigrant visas at NVC. Have you called/emailed NVC on this?

USEM does have requirements that will include duplicates of documents requested by NVC so be aware of that.

No, it's not a mistake or a false checklist when NVC is very specific about the [missing] items it's requesting. Whatever missing items listed in the checklist, make sure your wife has those exact items at the time of the interview.

NVC is not asking your wife to complete the I-864 or any part of it. The missing items are the issue, but if the checklist indicates a problem with the I-864 itself, then fix those problems. She needs a new original AOS anyway with your signature for the interview.

Now that makes sense.

In addition to gathering the missing items per the checklist, a call to NVC to resolve the AOS issue wouldn't hurt.

Missing or incomplete?
