Well the birth certificate etc, will make up the IV package sent to the NVC. Your photocopy of your divorce decree went with the I-130 so it's not necessary. You dont need a print out of the ds-261, the only purpose of that form is to start the IV path. The AOS package also goes to the NVC and many people prefer to send a tax return transcript to cut down on paperwork but it's not a bad idea to bring a copy of that to the embassy on interview day. The relationship evidence is also a good idea.

Have you reviewed the NVC Process wiki?

@Lovie Lovie thanks for reviewing my Checklist.

@NLR, Thanks for the suggestions and pointers.

Previously I used the NVC Flowchart which was outdated but still showed the flow of the process.

Now that you mention it, I've read through the NVC Process wiki

Thanks.

much of the stuff you submitted into NVC won't be needed to hand over on interview day -

unless something is outdated (PCC, I-864 to a new tax year)

but if there are any divorce docs on YOU the USCitizen Petitioner - she needs them in her hand on interview day - the certified copies from the courthouse / county registrar's office. to the best of my knowledge - it's required - and this is opposite to what NLR mentioned...

as to the Visa Application Fee - you paid that on 2014-03-25 already. why to pay again?

After the interview - there is a Visa Immigration Fee of 165 - but you can pay that anytime from her receiving the visa packet all the way to 1 year past the POE date.

May be consulate specific. I was not required to show my husband's divorce decree on interview day.

Yes I'm covered on that. My wife has the Apostille version of my Divorce document

and its compiled in her Document binder.

I got that straightened out. I realized I alrady paid the

NVC IV Bil and AOS Bill while our CR1 Petition case was still in NVC.

This is good to know. Thank you. I'll make her pay for the fee at US Embassy, Manila anyway.

The beneficiary needs to get a CEMAR (Advisory on Marriages).

She can get it by filling out an application for CENOMAR (yes you read it right).

Cannot pay the fee at the IV Unit - must to pay online with ELIS anytime after visa packet in hand (after interview) up to a year past the POE date. It's an online system - think of it as paying the fee for the greencard since the IV Fee dropped to $230.
