I know that 100% of income is needed for the I-134 specific to Jamaica, and 125% for the I-864.

Since my fiancee who is self employed just covers this 100% by little over a $1,000, we thought it would be best to include assets such as cash on deposit, savings and 401k.

Is this ok, or too much?

She needs to prove income with tax transcripts to help. JA requires most who are self employed to have a joint sponsor.

Yes, include everything. They do look at the sponsor's entire financial picture, so savings, 401Ks, everything, it will all help, so include it.

Thanks..We have the last three years tax transcripts from the IRS site and includes 2013-2014 W2 and 1040.

The joint sponsor would also be a part owner of the business..So we decided as their situation is similar we could go it alone.

We are using cash which is the most liquid of assets to the tune of $50,000.

We decided not to include properties even though they are mortgage free as these would require valuation costs which we feel would be unnecessary spending.
