anybody pls help me about my case?My DS-261 appeared to be incomplete until we were able to complete it. We've already paid AOS, as well as sent AOS package and it was stated on ceac.state.gov that it will take 3-5 working days to wait for the IMMIGRANT VISA fee but we've been waiting for more than a week now. How long will it take to have the IMMIGRANT VISA fee get invoiced for us to be able to pay? What should we do now?

1. The 3-5 days quoted are an approximate time frame, not an exact. All cases are different and it is not unusual to wait more than a week for the IV bill to be invoiced.

2. Wait for the IV bill to be invoiced and appear in the payment portal.

Thanks much! We were problematic coz we thought that our case was on pending state that cause the delaying of the immigrant visa fee. Because our case got pending due to incomplete DS-261. So i guess there shouldnt be any problem? Appreciate it.

If you got the DS-261 completed, the IV Fee should be invoiced shortly.
