Does fiancé's child need to be listed?

I'm a US citizen and looking into the process of starting the K-1 for my fiancé living in Mexico. I noticed that on the form, it notes the alien's child(ren). He has a daughter that lives in Colombia with her mother so it's like not she's going to come with my fiancé from Mexico. Do we have to note that he has a daughter? Thanks.

Absolutely. If you don't list ALL children (regardless of custody, relationship, etc.), you may be at risk for complications later. Besides, why wouldn't you want to leave the door open for the child to come at a later date? Situations change and you never know what the future will hold.

Thanks for the responses!

The annoying part now is having to wait for my fiancé to mail me his daughter's birth certificate. Feels like it's going to take a month to get all of my paperwork together.

No documentation for any children or the foreign fiance(e), such as birth certificates, are needed when filing the I-129F.
