He tried to call but he is in the waiting room at the doctor's office on the second floor.. There is no signal. He's gonna call when he gets back to his car. He is over by the Clinica Biblica. How did you find out the interview has changed? Did they tell him over the phone? OH MY GOD I hope they don't change ours. I already booked my flight!! I guess it would be ok to change it to a day before or the Thursday after the orginal date. But not another week !!!

I guess the lady he talked to told him they changed our date. Sounded like there was a guard who couldn't come in on the 3rd? Who knows. I'm happy they made ours earlier instead of later!

He also said the lady asked him a whole bunch of questions. He said the lady said that our case probably wouldn't be there until the end of June. We'll call again tomorrow!

My wife had her interview today and was approved. Interview was at Mumbai Consulate. Look at my timeline for the full review.

I would like to thank everyone here at VJ...Saylin, DWheels, and everyone else..I would name names but that would do injustice to everyone here that works hard to help people like me learn something new everyday and to get through this process as a family. So thank you all. I wouldn't say this is the end of VJ for me, now it's time to give back to the community.

1/29/14 - NVC assigned case number

2/10/14 - DS-261 was filled out and AOS was paid

2/11/14 - AOS was mailed

3/10/14 - AOS Checklist for missing field (Didn't write N/A)

3/11/14 - AOS was resent

3/20/14 - IV fee was invoiced and paid

3/26/14 - DS-260 was filled out and the IV documents were mailed from India

3/27/14 - AOS was approved (Reply to the checklist)

4/1/14 - received a false checklist for IV documents

Yeah I thought so too. But whatever. We'll call tomorrow, they should have it in the system by then. We're lucky enough that we live WALKING DISTANCE from the embassy so my esposo can pop over whenever.

Sorry to be away from the forums for such a long time, I just wanted to let everyone know my husband was approved on the 10th for his CR1. His interview was on the 10th, and on the 12th he had his visa in hand and he crossed the border with me. :) I am beyond excited! :dancing::dancing::dancing::luv::luv::wub::content: It was all worth it!

@Lovemytico did they make your husband get the chicken pox vaccine? The doctor made my husband get one! My husband told the doctor he had chicken pox already and therefore didn't need one but the doctor insisted. I think he just wanted to make more money. The whole visit cost $150!!

A while ago I made him go to his family doctor and show them the list and compare it to his vaccination record. Chicken pox was one he needed but he never had the chicken pox. Also had to get the flu shot and tetanus . But his insurance covered the shots . I didn't talk to him yet only whatsapp messages until he gets home.

Just checked my Status on the CEAC portal and seems that we are "READY" to get this show on the road! It all seems so unreal. It will only make sense to me when we are together in the US in our home. Then maybe I will believe it.

Wooooo! "READY" as well for our case! I tried to get an earlier interview by sending an email, it was a failure, they responded they cannot accomodate me with an earlier appointment... :'-(

He is a US citizen, lived in the UK, now moved back to the US. I am French, we met in 2010 in the UK and got married in March 2013 in France.

-2013-04-22: NOA1 (Case transferred on 12/04) -2014-02-07: NOA2 -2014-02-24: Case received at NVC (Case # received on 03/27) -2014-03-29: DS-261 completed -2014-03-31: AOS fee paid (shown as PAID on 04/02, package sent on 04/03) -2014-04-04: IV fee paid (shown as PAID on 04/08, package sent on 04/05) -2014-04-08: DS-260 completed online -2014-04-14: AOS & IV packages received at NVC (entered in the system on 04/17 and 04/18) -2014-05-05: AOS checklist (phone), joint-sponsor's proof of citizenship lost (other copy arrived at NVC on 05/08, NVC "received" the checklist response on 05/09)
-2014-05-09: IV package accepted
-2014-06-04: Case complete
-2014-06-11: Interview scheduled (July 23rd - APPROVED)
-2014-08-01: Visa in hand
-2014-08-04: POE

- 2016-05-05: CRI-89 - Petition to remove conditions sent

- 2016-05-10: NOA received

- 2016-06-13: Biometrics

Finally skyped with my husband today and he said his interview went smoothly. He was there 3 hours total, and said everyone he talked to was super nice and friendly. He said he was asked for a LOT of the papers I sent him with, like a copy of my BC and the baby's BC copy. So it's good I sent him so prepared. :)

His visa is supposed to arrive within 3 days. Does the sealed package come with the courier? Sorry if that's a dumb question but I am not sure.
