APPROVED TODAY!!

Everthing was super quick and easy.. Frankfurt, Germany is doing an awesome job :dancing:

Thank you everyone that helped me out and I'm crossing my fingers for all of you.

My husband sent me a quick email saying he was APPROVED! Such sweet words to my ears. He wil have his visa in 3 days! So relieved and can't wait to see him. Good luck to all the rest of you with June interviews!

Aug 2: I-129F NOA1

Aug 12: Alien Registration Number was changed, I-129F.

2014: Jan 28/29/30: - 3 transfer notices for I-130 and I-129F.

Feb 3 - Hard copy arrived -Notice of transfer to Texas stating Jan 29th.

Feb 27 - email stating I-130 being sent to NVC from TSC.

March 6 -NVC received our case.

Sorry if this has been answered before but, how long approximately does it take for a Green Card to arrive at the USA address after an interview?

And, do you know your Green Card number before the physical card actually arrives?

Some get in it in 3 weeks but the usual wait is 4 to 8 weeks after arrival. It will have your A number which will be on the Visa in your passport. That's the number you use to go on the ELIS system and pay the $165 fee to have your green card made.

Your Alien (A#) is your "green card #).

I have literally been checking the staus all morning and it said IN TRANSIT .. then I went to the ladies room, came back to my desk, looked at your message and checked my status again ... it NOW says READY !!!!! YAYYYYY!!!!!!! I guess I'll have my husband call and see if he can swing by on his way home ! It is only 8:40am in Costa Rica. I guess they opened their mail from last Wednesday !!!

My case was complete on 06/05/2014 and I still have not gotten a CC email but from what I have seen not everyone gets them. If you have contacted NVC and your case is complete then I wouldn't worry too much about the actual email. As far as interview scheduling goes...I have been lucky enough to talk with the nice people at NVC and this is what was explained to me. Every day they make contact with the different embassies to check on available interview spots and they schedule from there. I would check a few times a week or daily until you get the date.

For anyone here who has had Case Complete told them Verbally via phone but its been over 7 days and no Case Complete e-mail and no interview. Please call NVC and verify.

I have seen through these years too many times those thinking they have case complete waiting weeks months and they don't.

Right now NVC is beyond backlogged and making alot of errors. Sending petitions here and there taking more than the 30 days.

I know Laurel Scott says to not call unnecessarily but at least find out if there is something that is needed a checklist that never was sent just to ease your minds.

It's surreal! This waiting is so familiar to me. I'm not sure when I should start calling to see if my interview has been scheduled. It seems that no one has received a date this week yet?

He tried to call but he is in the waiting room at the doctor's office on the second floor.. There is no signal. He's gonna call when he gets back to his car. He is over by the Clinica Biblica. How did you find out the interview has changed? Did they tell him over the phone? OH MY GOD I hope they don't change ours. I already booked my flight!! I guess it would be ok to change it to a day before or the Thursday after the orginal date. But not another week !!!

I already have interview schedule so a case complete email is not that important to me anymore. But I think it may be a good idea for those who do not have interview dates yet.

That's why I mentioned if no CC and no interview. Heck even USCIS is sending out approvals that aren't approvals.

Case Complete to Interview spreadsheet

What did he say?

My esposo called and he said they said they don't have it yet. Hmm. I might try calling real quick, I have a planning period at school.

Also, he said they changed our interview date to JULY 1!

THAT'S IN TWO WEEKS AHHHHH
