ah, interesting question, as I've not heard anyone else query whether the bar-coded sheet goes too. I don't believe it's required at all since it's being hand delivered (if even requested at the interview).

I just have completed /updated AOS's from my 'sponsor-group', and the transcripts x 3 yrs each.

Yes I am wondering if they will even ask about the updated info, I mean I know we are legally supposed to tell them if anything has changed. I just assume it will all come up during the conversation because it is likely they will be talking about what she does for work and what I do for work. Since I quit my job I am sure they will ask for a co-sponsor sheet and we will have it if they do but maybe they won't, who knows. In any case the bar code sheet is part of our entire interview packet that we are bringing so my wife can always just go to the NVC portion of our packet and pull it out from the AOS section....

March 6: AOS Packet sent EP (I did not know at the time but 3 attachments were JPEG's, only PDF's are accepted)

March 12: EP enrollment confirmation received

March 13: Resent AOS packet email as I am confused if they received original since EP enrollment confirmation was received by me after AOS was sent.

March 14: Resent AOS packet as I realized previous two packets had JPEG's in them. This is my first correct packet with all PDF's.

March 17: Resent AOS packet for the 4th time with all PDF's and finally got a confirmation of receipt. This one was the only one sent during "business hours"

You legally need to provide the updated information.

I suggest the beneficiary just supply it when they're asked at the counter for the I-864 if you did EP. If you didn't it would be a good idea for the beneficiary to mention at that time they have a new affidavit of support package.

The bar code cover sheet is not needed at the interview (that's just for the NVC to scan to make sure they put things into the right file) just the AOS documentation.

I don't recall anyone asking at my interview what my husband or I did for work, just how we communicated since we only saw each other every 3 months.

I used a small accordion folder to seperate out all the individual parts of my interview package. Medical, Photos, IV, AOS, Relationship evidence

Approved!!! My husband was approved this morning. He said he has too much paperwork. They didn't take our 2013 tax info and it was easier than he expected!

They asked him how we met and when we got married.

Hearty congratulations!!!

Can someone please explain the DHL thing like as if I was a 3 year old? (yes I am feeling that dumb)

have you by chance read the 1st post here about tracking?

the first thing you need to know is when did your casefile leave NVC. Like if it left the 9th it usually is 2 or 3 days later DHL has a package in system and it starts in Boston.

Now remember this isn;t exact. You could see several packages a week go to France doesn;t mean its yours. We only are assuming that our package is in that bundle. It could be a reaffirm, a K1, another IR1/CR1 F2A no one knows its best to just follow on the ceac site and know that way.

If you are confused on the DHL site just holla, But the instructions are pretty straight forward and you can always post in the tracking thread. Truelovesjourney tracks these packages daily when asked.

Here's what I just pulled.

Does the beneficiary need to take the X-rays to the interview?

We were told by the civil surgeon's office that Julie should take the medical envelope (sealed) to the interview and that she should carry her X-rays in her luggage when she immigrated.

I don't want any delays because she doesn't have her X-rays at the interview. Of course, the X-ray folder is HUGE!

Any thoughts?

Thanks - we'll take the X-rays to the interview. At POE, can the X-rays be placed in the checked baggage, or does she need to have it in her carry-on luggage? The envelope is so big, and it would be hard to keep them flat and unbent in carry-on luggage...

That big humungous X-ray is like the million dollar mystery. Everyone I know that has POE has been told to bring with but embassy doesn't want it they say have in hand for POE they don't want it.

Like who wants this thing. I guess they just want to see how far we will obey heck if i know.

Yes! That's what I was about to say to Sukie... I'm surprised some place like Australia doesn't use discs. Mine is on disc. Hopefully more countries will progress to that quickly!

I've also gone ahead and obtained all prior diagnostic imaging that I've had done here in recent years onto discs-- from my annual exams to hip or low back xrays, just in case I ever need more specific information for US doctors than my saying 'hm, I think minor degenerative changes in my hip joints' lol.

Congrats to all the visa approvals so far! (L)

My husbands interview is on Tuesday (June 17) and I am feeling super anxious! No reason for it *not* to go well, but I still worry. :) I helped him get all his papers in order so he doesn't forget anything. The only thing I am slightly concerned about is proof of our relationship. He is just taking a bunch of photos (that contain both of our families and some extended family as well), and my flight itinerary and passport stamps from my last 3 month visit along with my original Romanian Visa card I had while living there (it expired last year). We have been married almost 3 years now and have a daughter together (he is bringing her BC, plus I originally sent it to the USCIS last year for proof of our relationship). Do you guys think that will be enough? We pretty much just talk on Skype every day, and chat on private iPhone apps for couples. Unfortunately hardly any emailing since we got married. I tried taking a screen cap on Skype but it just has his name on it, not mine. The only other thing I can think of is scanning my daughters passport stamps too since she came with me to visit him.

Thanks - we'll take the X-rays to the interview. At POE, can the X-rays be placed in the checked baggage, or does she need to have it in her carry-on luggage? The envelope is so big, and it would be hard to keep them flat and unbent in carry-on luggage...

If I remember right, the immigration check is before the luggage area. So I would think the X-ray and the other sealed envelop should be in the carry-on.
