i have a question, on the ceac tracking the status shows in transit, but i cant track it... i dont know when my shipment went... i found one package thats going to ireland, but nothing tio the uk... is this normal?

some times it takes couple of days to show in the system.

It shows "In Transit" when NVC send's it out, but it will not show in the DHL system until it is actually picked up and processed.

It takes only 2 to 3 business days to get to the embassy.

does the nvc send the documents to embassy after they send us the p4 interview letter? or do they send the package after we receive the p4 interview letter?

My interview was scheduled on 29-May and I received the P4 email on 31-May.

the file was shipped out on 03-Jun.

I guess that's how it works!!!

Just finished organizing EVERYTHING (I-130, AOS, IV, etc) into two giant folders. There's still a few more things I need to get, but I feel hella ready for our (his) interview on July 3! My esposo asked me "you're going to keep all that until I get a passport, aren't you?" I said "I'm keeping this stuff FOREVER. That way anytime you get mad at me I'll pull it out and be like 'remember that time I did all this ridiculous paperwork?'"

Are we supposed to bring updated "proof of ongoing relationship" items to our interview? I thought that this was already established and approved at the I-130 stage? We have all of the original information submitted at that stage (pictures, skype, plane tickets, etc) but I am wondering if we are supposed to bring updated things like the newer tickets and pictures since then....Thanks.

I'm bringing all the stuff we originally submitted plus some updated info as well. Like I have joint bills paid, I'm going to bring some from over the past year. I'm also bringing a photobook we made for my inlaws which has tons of pictures in it from the past year. And that's probably about it for proof of relationship.

When did you case leave NVC? You could just follow by watching your own CEAC Visa Tracker.

To track on DHL (which is not an exact science) you have to know when your case left NVC.

NVC lady told me that my case was left on 28th May..

Now what I do next to track it ?

There's nothing to track. It's been at the embassy probably got there like june 4 or 5th. Nothing to do now but wait for your interview unless you were trying to change the date than you would email the embassy.

Nope tracking is just something some VJ'ers do just because. watching the CEAC website and watch it go from In-Transit to Ready does the same. Some like me like to see that signed for at the embassy and we know its all there. It's a personal choice but nothing that is required.
