my interview was scheduled on 29-May and my file shipped out 04-Jun.

I called NVC and asked the operator for a tracking # but she said that NVC does not give up that info because several files are sent together.

So I guess they schedule and ship files out in waves.

So hopefully you will get in the 2nd wave of interview scheduling.

Good luck to all waiting!!!!!!!

Thank you :-)

I'm hoping we get a CC early next week! Fingers crossed!

CONGRATS to everyone in here!!! You did it! :-D

I am confused by the exact timing of "case complete".

On May 16, I called NVC and they told me that had finished reviewing our case. On May 23, My wife and I (we are applicants and our daugther is the petitioner) both received the following email (exce

______F - FINANCIAL EVIDENCE:______________________________________

We have finished reviewing your case. We will tell you when we set an interview

date for your case. Please do not contact the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in

PARIS, FRANCE about your interview until we give you the date.

I called again on May 30th and they told me my case was complete on May 27th. I tehn received the formal "case complete" email a week later on June 3.

Dear Sir or Madam:

The National Visa Center has received all documentation necessary to complete pre-processing
of your case. As soon as an interview date has been scheduled, the applicant, petitioner
and attorney (if applicable) will be notified.

The applicant should NOT make any travel arrangements, sell property, or give up employment
until the US Embassy or Consulate General has issued a visa.

However, my wife has not received the similar email. No news from the embassy so far. Anyone knows when "case complete" date is officially declared?

The Case Complete date is what NVC customer service tells you.

The CC email is very vague and does not tell you much, not even the "official" CC date.

You will not hear from the embassy now. NVC will schedule your interview and then they will forward your file to the embassy.

The embassy have no idea about your file right now.

Hello there! I'm just poking my head in here briefly (reeeeeeeeeeeeally hoping to be in this thread soon)! Question about this, from your experience with this thread, how often are the batches shipped out? Is it typically weekly, or when each 'round' is completed? I'm banking on an August interview, but part of me is hoping I squeak by and jump on the July train before it takes off! Thanks so much for all that you do!!! :-D

I went to www.dhl.com

click on Express and then on Track by Shipper's Reference.

and then I used the info on the picture and hit Track.

attachicon.gifUntitled 2.png

How do you learn the "Shipper's Reference" to enter on this website? Does someone at NVC give it to you, or do you get it somewhere else?

Also, when I go to CEAC.STATE.GOV and enter the case number, it simply says "Ready." What does this mean? We already received the interview date of July 21, but I'd like to find out when the case file is shipped.

Here is the full email text I received:

Yay, my case has gotten to the embassy, status shows ready. Pls dwheels is it possible to reschedule to an earlier date at the lagos embassy, has anyone ever succeeded in doing that, really need to be with my husband.

Yes I have known personally a couple of them who were successful. Better move it now. You won;t know unless you ask.

Make it as sweet and endearing as possible. No "I need my baby home soon as possible".

I know I had one who desperately ask that her husband have his interview moved to an earlier date so he could attend her only child's graduation from college and she wanted her husband to be there. They moved her up 7 weeks. From a end of January appointment to 1st week on December. She had a week to prepare from the day she was told.

So I would have medical done soonest. Be ready.

Ohhh heyyyy...come in and visit us. In fact, sttay awhile. Want some coffee? I'll get my espresso machine ready.

Someone say espresso? You had me there. OMG I so wish.
