I have decided to just wait, I am sure by tomorrow the IV application will be showing. I just saw a sample and they ask for a whole bunch of info. By Monday, I will be sending the supporting documents. I can't wait to finish this whole process. I am very thankful and grateful that there is a forum like VJ to help.

Do you think it is more or less same for all embassies? Some say Islamabad embassy is too slow or busy or whatever. I imagine it can't be busier than in India.

Every embassy is different. There is a different number of COs and definitely a different number of cases. Based on people's timeliness it takes 6 to 8 weeks to get an Islamabad interview. Things can be different going forward as there are lots of Holidays coming up in the 2nd half of the year. The embassy in Islamabad celebrates both US holidays - 4th of July, Labor Day, etc as well as Pakistani Holidays- 2 days for Eid fitr, 2 days for Eid Adha, Independence Day etc. Hope for the best but prepare for delays.

I just checked the interview spreadsheet for you because i was curious :)

Since May 29th, the average days from CC to interview is 35 days

May 1st to may 19th, the average days from cc to interview is 60days

May 1st to June 4th, the average days from CC to interview is 51 days

It seems like Pakistan embassy is getting quicker.. but this would be a wild guess from the data i see in the interview spreadsheet! so you are looking at anywhere from 35-51 days.

Thank you! There is an separate thread for Islamabad embassy which is older but that thread is a nightmare. Looking at some cases how long it took them, I had no courage to look into latest dates but these timelines look good to me :)

YES it was the best feeling in the world seeing the IV fee showing up lol I been waiting and counting the days and seconds. I have copies of I-130 perhaps I will use that as my guide and will mail out the documents tomorrow. I have everything except proof of relationship which my husband has all the pictures of us and other things in the D.R, I don't need to send those now right? I was planning on taking it to the interview instead.

How many pages does the DS-260 have?

You would have submitted proof of relationship to the USCIS though? If they needed more, they would have sent an RFE. We had to do that. You should be able to print off the cover page and send in your supporting documents now. Then the DS-260 will be available as soon as the fee show's paid.

There's quite a few sections. I prepared by completing the DS-230 and printing it off, I had this sitting next to me while I completed the DS-260 but there's more detail required in the DS-260, so it took me about 90 mins to complete.

You would have submitted proof of relationship to the USCIS though? If they needed more, they would have sent an RFE. We had to do that. You should be able to print off the cover page and send in your supporting documents now. Then the DS-260 will be available as soon as the fee show's paid.

There's quite a few sections. I prepared by completing the DS-230 and printing it off, I had this sitting next to me while I completed the DS-260 but there's more detail required in the DS-260, so it took me about 90 mins to complete.

Hey, I looked in the NVC Wiki and did not see a link to print out the old DS-230 to practice for the DS-260. Do you have a link for that? :)

Our lawyer sent out iv docs & aos on 7th June but nvc says they don't received any docs from our side.

now what should we do?

our lawyer said he sent out all things...

I m so worried...
