Marcela it seems you already took care of the issue of the marriage certificate. It is very possible that when we scanned the documents it skipped precisely that page. It has happened before with our scanner which is not an excuse but it is the reality, and unfortunately it was that page (by the way was 3 pages). I take the blame for this since I should have checked that all was there. The rest of the check list is generic they send it to everyone so at this point I would not do anything. I have not been able to talk to you because since the Attorneys are gone I have had to sit with clients and as a matter of fact I was with one when you called.

Sorry it has caused you some stress and I truly apologize for it. My copy has the certificate. You got the scanned version. Because of her my case will be delayed a month!

I have a lovely friend whose native language does not have a "w". Woman is pronounced "OO-mahn". The first time it came up in conversation, it took me forever to understand what he meant. Then I felt very ashamed that I hadn't understood him!

I also happen to have an (ex)friend who sounds exactly like the voice we are describing. Freaked me out when I first heard the woman at NVC!!!

Now I can see how that happened since you're more likely to forget to attach a document when you are doing EP.

However, she should have double-checked the email before she sent it.

I hope you get some sort of refund because your case will be delayed for a month because of her mistake.

From what I understand, you received a false checklist because your AOS was approved. That cover sheet you're talking about is for sending a checklist item they are requesting with that sheet attached on top. Since you already sent the IV package (I am assuming?), then it does not apply to you.

The third page looks something like below, right?

yes it looks exactly like that...people were discussing a couple of days ago if they should send their IV documents using the AOS cover sheet....from this checklist it seems like it would b a good idea to wait for IV to be invoiced and then send in IV documents with IV coversheet

It's what Saylin suggests and I'm going with Yoda I mean her. .

Got off the phone with NVC . IV package was accepted.. WOOHOOO!!

The checklist was still not removed completely off the system yet for our AOS, but my wife spoke to the supervisor again, and she kept telling her,

"Don't worry, it's going to be removed, I sent it back to get removed" -Don't know how that process works?!

So once the checklist is removed, I can actually say case complete and interview for August?!?! Don't want to get too excited.. But, it's looking good .

OMG I'm so happy been praying like an idiot you guys get some good new! Woooooooo Hooooooo!

The paralegal made all those mistakes? I'm assuming you've talked with the attorney about these ridiculous errors? If not, it should definitely be brought to his attention!

I wonder if there's any other recourse for the awful job they've done (if they advertise on Yelp or other sites, I would most certainly post a negative review).

Soloenta , I didn't sleep last night as well. I am so stressed and yes MADDDDDDDDDDDD like you . Please don't call yourself stupid, you are not!

Awwww thank your so sweet, but it's how I feel. I messed up the AOS so badly that without help I would have been here for years.

Yes, sad to say I used to sleep like a baby and now I'm lucky to get two, three hours a night. My eyes are closing I go to bed and stare at the ceiling. Thank you again for your kind words.
