Call them tonight! :) Worst case scenario - the quicker you know, the faster you'll be able to resolve the problem.

I just got my fake checklist requesting the IV package.

I agree with k.dlg 100%. If there is a check list (hopefully there isn't). You're delaying yourself by not calling. It's best to find out - and if it's good news, you'll be super glad you called!

I did get a false check list. I found out on the phone first thing Monday morning (June 2nd). I got my false check list via e-mail late Tuesday (June 3rd) afternoon.

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

Not always. I called Friday (6/13) and they told me my AOS was approved. Received the false checklist today (6/16).

It stated as follows:

______1 - IMMIGRANT VISA APPLICATION PART 1:_______________________

The National Visa Center received your DS-260 form. We are waiting for the traveling applicant’s

supporting civil documents to be submitted to the NVC. Your online Immigrant Visa Application will be

reviewed upon receipt of your supporting documentation.

I'm sorry you got him! :( I've been fortunate to not have had Joy or Arthur yet - probably just jinxed myself - but if you want to send a complaint if he was particularly nasty, I grabbed this straight from Soloenta's signature.

For nasty NVC customer service Reps e-mail complaint: NVCINQUIRY@state.gov. Attn: P I Dept. (in the subject line)

I've had the pleasure of speaking with grumpy Arthur, not Joy yet though. It was before my case was received, actually I was calling to see if they had received it yet, he told me I had called far too soon, even though it had been a month since my NOA2 lol

THank you so much for the info. My husband was the one that called and after being treated so rudely asked for his supervisor which got him put on hold and accidently (ya right) disconnected. He did however call back and get a supervisor and made his complaint.

Is anyone familiar with how long AFTER the IV Fee e-mail from NVC does it actually show up on the portal as payable? It's been 2 hours and there's nothing available to pay.
