OMG! My husband's interview was scheduled today for July 25th in London! I just got an email:

An immigrant visa interview is scheduled for [my husband] and any eligible derivative applicants

(see applicants eligible to attend the interview below) at the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in LONDON, GREAT

BRITAIN AND NORTHERN IRELAND on July 25, 2014 at 08:30 am.

We just got CC yesterday too. I thought we would be too late for a July interview..

SO ironic because this is the EXACT date that we wanted. I was flying home to the USA on the 22nd FROM Sydney so now I can go with my husband to the interview and we will only be separated for ONE week!

my AOS fee on the ceac website just changed to N/A.

I heard it was case complete. Did any of you who got a checklist saw that on your page? I can't even call NVC because they are closed.

YAHOOOOOOO Get on that phone a few minutes before 7am EST MONDAY MORNING to be the first caller !! The AOS fee went to N/A for me when I got my Case Complete AND it went back to PAID when the satus chaned to "in Transit" !! So I definitely think that is a sign that something changed with your case. Waiting until Monday will be hard but enjoy your weekend and get ready for GOOD News ! !!!

I don't understand why she always mentions that "the unnecessary phone calls [to NVC] compound the problem". It's not like the ones answering the phone are the same agents who review the packages. Maybe she's tired of being on hold for so long and is trying to influence others not to call? xD

I think everybody has had a CC after that with no checklists, or their last package was an actual checklist (so no additional checklists).

Call early like LoveMyTico said, so you won't wait much time on hold!!

Hello, I recently had my I-130 approved and I was gathering my documents and preparing for the next step. And I was looking into DS-260 and what I will have to do and had a few things I wanted to clarify.

1) Page 3: Application Information; In this case who would the applicant be the Beneficiary (my wife who I'm applying for)?

2) Page 6-46 (Tabs Personal to Work/Education); will all that also be Beneficiary information (my wife who I'm applying for)?

3) Page 47 (Tab Petitioner); what would be mines?

4) Rest about security is that for me or wife?

I might sound dumb asking but I want to make sure I got it correct the first time around; as being an insurance agent I make sure I have what I need properly.

on July 10, 2014 at 07:30 am. It is a four page PDF.I need to see what feedback we have on the country portal.

So there you have it my people. I was planning to call tomorrow first thing in the morning. I called on Tuesday and was told we are still waiting for the embassy.

My parents interview was scheduled today for July 9 ! I just got an email.

I sent My AOS checklist on May 13. I got cc on friday (June 6th) .

Siblings case are still pending . I know these case take a lot of time to complete .

Hi, I am the beneficiary from singapore. I got my NOA1 on 16th Dec 2013. According to timelines here and following on NSC case numbers my case number should have been processed. But its not!>_< T_T. Should i call USCIS customer service if my file still has not been touched in a week's time?

Sigh i know i still have a long way to go after NOA2. But my NOA2 feels especially long.....sobz

For AOS package i am collecting papers already and i am wondering about two things.

1. Because of my wife doesn't work i got my father in law as joint sponsor. So my wife hasn't worked and doesn't have any tax information. At time of filling I-864 by my wife (first sponsor) do we need to write in financial info none everywhere and + make letter with explanation why we put none?

2. How much time does it take to get IRS after calling them?

3. My wife and i dont have much domicile established in US, like we dont have property we dont rent, nothing important belongs to us. Just what happened positive for it is that my wife went in USA for establishing Domicile like making our living condition ready, organizing home and so on. So do i need to mention it in there?

1-Your wife's 864 will indeed indicate that she didn't work, didn't file taxes, and be sure to include a statement clarifying those points.

2-Use the online IRS website for an immediate printout of the tax transcripts. I have no idea about calling them, sorry.

3-Include information about reestablishing domicile, and if you use the search box at the top I'm sure you'll find much information to guide you:)
