Here's a little karaoke for you all today. I have retitled it "NVC Man" (with apologies to the NVC women... it didn't fit the song).

Stop! Oh, yes, wait a minute, NVC man...

Wa-ai-ai-ait NVC man...

NVC man, look and see

If there's an update, an update for me...

I've been waiting, such a long time

To get an update on this casefile of mine

There must be some word today...

'Cuz my love is so far away

Please NVC man, look and see

If there's an update, an update for me

I've been sitting here, waiting, NVC man

So-oh so patiently

For just a form, or just an invoice

Or finally a Case Complete, maybe?

NVC man, look and see

If there's an update, an update for me...

I've been waiting, such a long time

To get an update on this casefile of mine (SAX SOLO)

So many hours you made me hold

My redial finger's numb and cold

When I got through, though, all you can say is

You've gotta wait thirty more business days!

NVC man.... Whoa yeah...

Please, please, NVCeee-ee-ee-ee-ee man

Why don't you check it and see,

One more time for me,

You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute

You gotta wait a minute, wait a minute

Oooh ooh ooh ooh

NVCee-ee-ee-ee-ee man

Want an interview letter

De sooner de better...

NVC man.....

This is great! Totally bust out laughing in my class. Oops..

I put in bold my favorite line- WAIT 30 DAYS!!!

I second both of you. It is extremely tempting when you know you have to wait for good 30 days and this only used to take 2-3 days at the most.

On the other hand, they are losing documents/giving checklists even if we are following right steps. We are talking about originals docs here!! Not sure if it is worth the risk :(

Can someone please get a supervisor to confirm that we can use the AOS barcode for IV docs? What is the reason they are giving for letting us do that when most of the operators state that they are taking their sweet time to invoice the IV so they can control their flows..Aren't these two statements contradicting each other?

Can someone please get a supervisor to confirm?

It can't be zero. It's minimum 1. If your spouse is the only person you're petitioning for, then the correct answer is 1.

It's official I'm an idiot, thought it was for other immigrants being sponsored.

Last question do I send in just the one page or the whole thing I can do it right now?

It's official I'm an idiot, thought it was for other immigrants being sponsored.

Last question do I send in just the one page or the whole thing I can do it right now?

The question states to add up lines 1-6. The principal immigrant (your spouse) is included in line 1. Other immigrants are in lines 2-6.

Include ALL pages. Use the AOS bar-coded sheet and include a cover letter as to what you're sending in.

It seems like bar codes are same on all bar code sheets.

The only difference I see is that the checklist response goes to the attention of: DR, AOS goes to CMR AOS, and IV goes to CMR.

I was thinking if we send in IV doc with AOS barcode, are they going to review it? I think they are only going to review if we have paid the fee...

it's worth to try, but im afraid it will delay the process as NVC is stupid sometimes.....they sure can't read or may get confused... :sleepy::sleepy::sleepy::cry::cry:

Update on check-list.. Got to talk to a supervisor. I'm not going to try to spell her name, don't want to butcher it! Any ways, she said she's going to request the file and see if she can get it where we can take the statement to the interview with us.. Will have to call back tomorrow.. Hope she's able to and we can get case complete and it's removed! *Fingers crossed*.
