My income for 2012 was a NEGATIVE number because I lost money in the stock market. So yes, it can definitely be 0 or negative. :)

Great! I feel so much better now!

I thought I was still drunk from my vacation and seeing things that I wasn't supposed to since the total income was "$0.00". LOL!

Called NVC after holding back for over 2 weeks and Valdo or Waldo said I had my CC May 29 and I should expect an interview date for July shortly......

I am a May 5th also and as of Friday they still hadn't completed my case.

Question: on the CEAC portal, did your AOS payment change from "Paid" to "N/A" when you got CC? It seems as though that is the rumor on here but I am not sure if that is only happening as a glitch in their system. If that is the case, then I don't have a CC yet because nothing changed on my portal.

Hello everyone!

I have been avoiding the forums just because I did not wanted to become depressed again, as I got during the USCIS time.

But I am very happy for all of you that got Case complete and the Interview is scheduled.

Our Checklist response arrived/was scanned the 7th of May and since then, nothing, every-time we call we get the 30 days response

Going to call them now and see what will be the answer

Good luck to everyone waiting!

Hey girl!! :star: Don't be sad because you are almost there! We may see each other in Paris in July...I hope!

when they checklisted me for a police certificate, I called and challeged them because it is not required at the NVC for a Police Cert for Costa Rica. They told me I was correct and they initiated a supervisor review. That only took a day or two.

Hopefully it will be the same for me....

Yup I'm having him call from skype. That's the way I always have to call!

if only he had internet in the house. They don't even own a computer. He has internet on his cell but Skype always shuts down... Not consistant enough to make a phone call. Plus I just can't picture my husband sitting on hold for 30 minutes. He would get annoyed

I don't mind calling .

My docs have always said N/A ever since they changed the site.

Agent Sarah just picked up. She says the documents are under review and I need to give it 30 days bla bla bla. Then she said I need to wait 30 days from May 16th. I asked again about my May 7th documents, she said they're currently being reviewed. I explained that I was told that on May 23rd only to find out last week they haven't been reviewed. She said I need to wait for e-mail notification. I asked does this mean I'm getting a checklist. She said she didn't know. So I asked what day they're working on, she said she has no access to that and I need to wait 30 days. I said if it's currently being reviewed, how long does it take once an officer touches the file. She said 30 days.

I think I was talking to a robot.

I give up. Looking "forward" to joing the August interview thread.

No, No! Don't say that! If you are in the August interview thread, then so am I because it seems as though no one wants to pick up my stupid package to complete my case.

AOS does change, its a glitch in their website. I cleared that up today with them. Alot of other people have reported the AOS fee showing N/A and all have CC.

My AOS fee went as far as showing rejected... not just N/A.

for the marriage certificate, remember in form I-130 they asked you for date of current marriage.

Make sure you send the certificate that matches that date. You don't want to provide "conflicting information". The idiots reviewing the docs will make a big deal of it and it will take ages to fix it.

So make sure all the dates provided match

Psssst! I'm an undercover agent in this forum from the I-140 clan :secret: (Translation: wasn't asked, didn't tell marriage date to USCIS. I didn't inhale either, if you're butting in Bill).

However, I do get your point. I bet every CO, CBP officer and Papa Jones dispatcher will see our Colorado marriage date if they punch in our names.

Nothing yet, but I talked to a really nice guy Named Bruce.. he had an accent. REALLY NICE GUY !

He said give them a couple more days and volunteered MAY 5th as the day they are working on. I feel like they are a little beyond the 5th. Since they were working on May 5th 2 Friday's ago.

Hunny, they've been working on May 5th since last Tuesday and I haven't heard a peep. It's pretty annoying at this point.

No, No! Don't say that! If you are in the August interview thread, then so am I because it seems as though no one wants to pick up my stupid package to complete my case.

I'm a cynic by nature (that's actually one of my favorite beers, too), and usually when I throw these massive irrational woe is me Morrissey temper tantrums some movement happens. Soooooooo perhaps something good is about to happen?

And oh yes, having a good laugh is definitely needed. Although I may not be going through the process and don't have the same frustrations, I definitely still have frustrations from people not reading the wiki I put together or looking up current time frames on my spreadsheet, etc etc.

It's funny you mention taking down the wiki for a day. On a car trip yesterday, I was venting to my husband about how a lot of people seem to not actually read stuff that's provided and I joked how I should just up and leave one day, taking down the wiki and my spreadsheet in the process  Sometimes, I am severely tempted to do this out of frustration...

You should! I love playing Devil's advocate.:devil: . The information is readily available on the USCIS/NVC website and your WIKI that has a BREAKDOWN. "How many threads does it take for you to read the WIKI? I'm sure tons... "

Oh by the way, :ot: ... Saw you posted about a raspberry pi one day. What do you use it for? I have one, but haven't had a chance to play with it due to work.. I have a mini server rack, which on there I have a SNES emulator for my wife because she loves the SNES games.. (Plus she can't buy any games systems until we move back). :P Of course, other various things too.
