We both just received the email that AOS invoice is ready but the website is still showing that case termination error. Is that normal?

Do you know that Mr. Lovely Gus last night got a little snippy with me too? I let it go though because he's always such a sweetheart. I figure he probably ran into Joy on the way into work.

That was a bust. Agent Kim (I think) first got the embassy wrong, then tried to tell me my case # was wrong.

Then she said my IV has not been reviewed yet and it will take 6 weeks to review. I said the web site only says 2-4 weeks, why is there such a discrepancy? She said I need to give it 30 business days. Then I asked what date range they were working on and she said "ma'am, that is information I am not willing to give you".

So much for today being the day.

My AOS hasn't changed and I'm just worried about a checklist since I mailed them together. I'll try to call tonight. My husband goes back on Thursday, I'd love a CC before he leaves.

Why are you concerned about a checklist? Just curious. Is it because you think they might only focus on one of the packages and say they still "need" the other? I ask because I did that too and am hoping I don't get a checklist either.

I'm just concerned because I will lose time if I get a checklist* now. Both my AOS and IV were sent together and if I just happen to get one for the AOS, the fix could already be in the pile some where. Now I have to hope everything is fine or else I can look forward to another month of waiting.

My Husband had this problem back in 2009. His passport did not have my name as a spouse. When he filled application for PCC he wrote Married. They told him to get his passport updated. So, he went back a week later and wrote single in the application and no one questioned anything. Surprised???? I still do not understand the reason of India wanting your spouse's name on the passport... (FYI: This happened in Ahmedabad, Gujarat)

Hello Guys, Beneficiaries from India can help me out, last week my wife submitted AOS and DS-261 online. So now I am planning to apply for PCC. I have big question in my mind as on my passport the spouse section is blank so little curios this will not impact my PCC. when I filled the application for PCC i wrote married but on my passport its blank. will it be any issue to get PCC?. any suggestions are welcome.. may be I m little nervours
