:huh:Hi, is there any time line for NVC? OR for OVERALL process? when u can definitely confirm to that the timeline is beyond that?

No, they don't have processing dates like USCIS does. Cases are too individual for that at NVC. Some people wait to pay invoices or send packages, for instance, which would throw off processing average. There are just too many steps. NVC says it takes 30 days to review each package, so plan for that and hope to be surprised. Seems to be much closer to reality than it used to be though =\

Me thinks people aren't calling.... My AOS hasn't changed to N/A and I don't plan to call NVC until tonight - I will call sooner if my AOS fee changes to N/A!

NVC process is taking forever. From previous processing time, it only take couple of weeks to get Invoice number for both AOS and IV after you submit DS-261. I have completed my DS-261 two weeks back and they say that it will take up to 30 days before they release invoice for IV. Taking up to 30 days for every action is just ridiculous. Is there a way to report an issue with process to higher management? I fee like we should escalate this to higher authorities so that at least future applicants can benefit out of it. Any suggestions on where to report this issue? It is just doesn't make any sense to wait for an year or more to get your spouse to live with you.

I think it will soon take 4 months to get through the NVC Hell Hole. It took me 2 months to get a CC. It would have been 1 month if it weren't for the checklist. I am so shocked at how long its taking people to get invoiced and to pay..... and Now USCIS is processing in 5 months ( sometimes less) all those files will be bombarding the NVC soon. And the DACA 2 year renewals are due. How disappointing !!!!!! I hope the DACA files don't go through the NVC

God help us all...this process doesn't ever end.

30 days seems to be the NVC's answer to everything. Everytime have called its 30days but umm that 30days keeps changing to 30 from the day i called. i mean hello really stop lieing people and give an honest answer to people.

Anyways sorry for the rant on to me real question. I was looking for opinions on which filing system is better, snail mail or EP. As in terms of faster or at least more reliable for results lol.

Thank you in advance.

I'm feeling like this, too! I feel like I'm in limbo. I can't quit my job. I can't buy plane tickets. I can't start to sell any of our stuff. Just waiting and waiting.

Don't worry. It is not a requirement to have spouse name in the passport to get PCC. All they need is marriage certificate and I-797 approval. My spouse was told at passport office when they issued the PCC that she may get in trouble later to get visa given she doesn't have spouse name recorded. I have checked with NVC and it is not a requirement as long as you have marriage certificate to prove that you are married.

agree with u, but unfortunately u will not get any contact on higher management, they r covered pretty good so the only way u can act is by waiting... sorry :/

just this morning on the news they are talking about 1,000 illegal immigrants from Mexico that they are transporting to Arizona and setting them up with food, money and clothing, and they sneak across the border! I dont know what this country is coming to its very upsetting that there is no help for good people who are really trying because they give everything away to the dishonest!
