WOW :wow: WOW no one seems to be answering questions and this is what this thread is about, I thought.

I posted a question about my AOS package today, and only one person was kind enough to answered it. So I posted the same question on the I-130 Facebook group and got good replies. :content:

Well, I don't take it personal. :) I know everyone is excited to hear good news on Mondays so things get lost and it gets difficult to reply to other people's messages.

Did i have to wait for nvc to sent me -- email or mail -- to complete ds261 or check online to know if it available

You can check online with your case number and IIN to know if its available. Some have filled it online before getting email from NVC. Mine was available before NVC sent me email, but I chose to wait for the email from NVC just to be on a safe side. So you can choose to fill it now if is availabe or wait for email from NVC.

hello

I just got my CASE NUMBER & IIN NUMBER and given email and phone number to NVC

but i cant sign in right now should i wait ????? any helps and thank you

congrats!

Quick question: What is I-864 Package? :huh2:

I'm filling out my timeline and noticed this. Is this the email "package" I received from NVC asking me to fill out the DS-261 form and pay the AOS fee? :help:

Did you re-submit the DS-261 form? In other words, did you fill out the DS-261 form twice?

Do you mean in the timeline? ohh, there that's what you said... I took that slot to mean when you actually 'did' or printed out the 864, suspecting that in in the past it was sent to you rather than printing it off the website. Not sure if that's the case though.

Hey guys, any advice on this?

So two weeks ago I realized that I forgot to include a schedule with my 1040 in my AoS package. After asking 100 people PLUS TWO NVC officers, I decided to send it in instead of waiting for a checklist. The two ladies I spoke to at NVC said, "it be better to have it waiting there then to wait for a checklist, at least we will have it"

Well, I called at 7:00A USA time and spoke to Waldo and he informed me that even if I got a case complete on my AOS and IV packages that were received on May 15th, they would not CC me until they reviewed the package that was received on June 6th. That is NOT was I was told before...

Anyways, when I just checked on the portal my AoS fee shows as N/A which it did not yesterday.

Could this mean a check list and not a case complete? Has anyone seen an N/A without a checklist?

Thanks so much!

From the experience on here, it seems they wait for all your packages that were scanned in before giving CC. Call them to see if you CC. :)

Thanks for responding.

I suppose the only thing I am wondering is, if they had everything they needed in my first packages, maybe they would CC me without bothering to look at the 2nd package. That is what the lady that I spoke to at NVC lead me to believe by saying, "You may as well send it in, at least then if we do check list you, we will have the documents already".

If they have everything they need, why would they wait to look at additional documents?

Then again, why does NVC do a lot of the things they do? haha

Because it might be something you sent in that is important/ could be important. Not sure if others got N/A without being CC. Best bet is to call. There was a group of us about two weeks ago calling everyday to find out (sometimes more than once... LoveMyTico lol) and we would just do things while on the phone. So just give them a ring.
