I don't understand how they could have started on the 16th when us 13ths and 14ths are waiting still...makes no sense to me. I'm so worried about a checklist. :/ What are the normal reasons for a checklist? I'm trying to make sure I can cover all my bases and be ready if they send me one, God forbid.

I've noticed throughout the last couple months that they always seem to be working on a range of dates at any given time. I think the officers pull batches at a time and some work faster than others. That's my very ill informed and incomplete opinion lol

The other hypothesis is people aren't calling NVC for updates and when they do and get good news, we all assume that's the day they're working on at thia moment (even if the approval was a couple days before).

5/21/2016: Mailed I-751 packet to CSC

5/23/2016: NOA1

7/29/2016: Biometrics Appointment

11/22/2016: I-751 Approved!

okay, so my daughter's case was completed on may 5, today i received a checklist letter and I was like "oh no not again" but the good news is I can bring the missing document on our interview day(thank god!). Anyway, still waiting for my case to be completed(checklist was scanned on may 16). Hope and pray that this week is the last week of our NVC journey. Fingers crossed :)

what was the missing document that you can bring to your interview? was it the same doc on your checklist?

It's supposed to be linked to the DS-261 though, not the AOS package. When did you submit your DS-261?

Oh, and congratulations. I'm constantly checking CEAC to see if I can pay my IV fee

I did the DS-261 on 5/19 and I pay the AOS on 5/20 but my lawyer made a mistsake and did not pay it correct. So I pay it again on 5/30, but I heard from the other people here that it matters for IV when you send the DS-261 not when you pay the AOS. I hope this is true as I don't want to wait longer for this, my God 21 days is enough already!

In my case I have submitted it on May 14th and resubmitted accidentally on 22nd may and then called to NVC for IV fee, they said the process of DS 261 Acceptance will take max of 30 business days. So we have to wait for 30 Days at max .... If that number cross we would initialize supervisor call for reviewing our case...

So let's start waiting .. I'm Waiting from 3 weeks.. no invoice for IV.. :clock: Please any one who have faced this type of delay or scenarios please note here..

All the best.

Submitted the DS -261 May 12th no IV yet :( is it me or it's taking them way too long!

Quick question: What is I-864 Package? :huh2:

I'm filling out my timeline and noticed this. Is this the email "package" I received from NVC asking me to fill out the DS-261 form and pay the AOS fee? :help:

Did you re-submit the DS-261 form? In other words, did you fill out the DS-261 form twice?

That's what's called the AOS package in all the literature here. It's the I-864 plus any other proof of income.
