We just completed our DS-261, after waiting 8 days since receiving our case number! When logging in to the payment portal, we get the error message that the case is in process of termination, so hopefully our AOS fee will be invoiced soon!! :)

Oh wow mine should be available anytime soon then!

When they say 'currently being reviewed' did they mean it was currently with an officer? If so, you should call back today and find out if it's been approved.

Others have posted that once the officer opens the file and reviews the packet, it's approved/check listed that day.

Yes that's what she said when I called yesterday "currently being reviewed with an officer" I plan to call tonight hopefully great news awaits.. thanks:)

I checked it earlier and still Shows PAID.. bummer but it's okay i know case complete is just around the corner:) I'm sure it will be the same for you! Good luck!

Hi does anyone know how long it takes NVC Eletrionic to open and review EP filing Emails. The NVC phone operators say they don't know anything about EP . I waited 31 days to get the emails that changed the GUZ numbers to GZO numbers for China. Then I emailed the AOS and IV information two weeks ago May 23rd. So is it 30 days to get the confirmation and then 30 days for them to open the emails with the information in them and then another 3-4 weeks for them to look at them? 90 days? or are they looking at the emails now?

i hope DS- 261 is available soon !!, i have been waited 16 days since receiving my case number, when log in in the payment portal show me the same error since first day

Yours should be available VERY soon!! I would start checking today. It might be another day or two.

Wow! I would double check and make sure your case number and IIN are being correctly entered. Your DS-261 should definitely be available soon.

Keep checking to see if changes (if you can). Someone else with a recent CC said their's didn't change either, so the same could be said you, too!

To anyone that has already filled out the DS-261 and the petitioner is living abroad with their spouse, do you think it's okay that I (petitioner) used my US address for the part where it asks where we want correspondences sent to and then my Mexican address when it asks for the address of the person that helped fill out the DS-261?

we both have GUZ and EP.. I paid AOS on 20th, and emailed AOS package on 21st. I called in 6/3. the operator said they did not have access to the EP... but the NVC itself will review the case once they get the email for EP, they will change GUZ to GZO for EP only and it will not affect the doc you sent, they will carryover the docs under the new case #, IDK if thats true or not.

Also they said now they don't respond to Enroll emails anymore, so we can send docs right after the invoices are paid. 30 days period for each transaction. =(
