Thanks for the info llindsay! Can you remember what time it was in the U.S. when you saw those time slots? Seems like it's being done between 7pm - 9pm here?

We've been searching for appointments since we were approved in very beginning of May...this game show of finding an appointment time is not fun anymore....lol. Thanks again & good luck!

It was about 10pm est. when I got my june 10th slot and then about 45 mins or so later there was a posting stating that July dates was open and they got a July 7th date and others dates in July was open. That same person in a later thread said there was 15 slots open for July 7th.

Here's the thread: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/498992-manila-interview-appointment/

We are still waiting for an interview date as well. I'm constantly checking for available dates and every time I check there are still none available. Hopefully they will release more July dates soon.

does my fiance have to wait for the US Embassy in Manila to receive the file from NVC "before" she can schedule an appointment? or can she schedule at any time?

Nope she doesn't have to wait as long as you paid your visa fee so that you can schedule an appointment. Also make sure its enough time so you can get her medical done and for the embassy to get your case. I'm assuming that you also have your MNL#.

yes, we have the MNL# looks like she will need to pay for the fee at a local BPI branch. i also tried to pay the Affidavit of Support fee online but we missed the window to pay online because the NVC just sent our file out to the Manila Embassy on May 29. and i got a message on the site that since it's in route:

The National Visa Center has forwarded your file to the US Embassy/Consulate where you are applying for an immigrant visa. Any other required fees must now be paid directly at the Embassy or Consulate at the time of your interview.
Please contact the US Embassy/Consulate if you have any questions. You can find the contact information by consulting this list of US Embassy/Consulate websites.

another question: the K1 VISA we have includes our daughter (k2), i understand we need to pay the $240 visa fee twice, but do we need to still schedule an interview date for our daughter (she's 18 months). i'd imagine we just schedule the interview for my fiance and that's it, right? and our daughter would be there w/ her during the interview.

You do not pay an affidavit of support fee. The only fee you will pay is the $240 visa fee.

Your petition will be automatically extended. A lot of us are in the same situation because its so hard to get an interview slot. Don't worry as long as they understand you are still actively pursuing the visa (since you paid the visa fee already) they will just extend it and it won't cause any problems.

Well its hard to see whats going on with you cause you don't have a timeline filled out but based on what you said, they have released all of July interviews yet. I believe they only went till July 11th so there is some time there. Like I said im not sure where your at in the process but I hope that helps.

Is the kid the biological child of the US citizen petitioner?

I found your previous post: http://www.visajourney.com/forums/topic/498694-can-i-file-a-crba-in-manila-while-in-the-usa/#entry7044143

Did you file CRBA for your child?

No, i didn't do the CRBA yet. i didn't want to do 2 things at the same time. i was worried that if i do the CRBA and the K1 visa is in process it might complicate things. our file is already at the Manila Embassy. once the K1 is approved and they are here in the US, i will get her USC here.

regarding the AOS (I-134), when/where is that submitted? sorry, i got confused on the fees...looks like there's no filing fees. thanks again for your help.
