Hello.

When I was 15 I went to the usa to friends of my parents.

I stayed there for about a week and went back.

7 years later I came in contact again with the son of them and decided to meet each other after 2 years texting skyping etc.

I was there once now on a esta wich I filled in a day before leaving I had no idea that I had to do that and didnt look into it more.

Now I wanted to visit again and after that go for a k1 visa. But when I read into it I saw I made a huge mistake.

I went on a esta to usa with 2 cmit. Petty theft in 2007 and 2010. The one in 2010 I had to pay back the value of it back to the owner of the store because I was with the person who put it in his bag.

Both times I went to court and had to pay.

Now I dont know how this is going to affect the k1 and will I be denied?

People are telling me to just get married there and do an aos but I have 2 childeren which I don't want to take any risks with.

This are all american people who dont have a clue that you even need an vwp/esta...

Im not going to visit now and we will go for k1 visa.

Anyone who has advice or is in an similar situation?

Im freaking out. I never had a clue my petty theft were cimt. Stupid I know :(

Please help?

You did your "time" and all is over. Those will be uncovered during the background checks and may make the process a little longer but not impossible.

Felony crimes, domestic abuse, terrorist activities are much worse.

As of Dec 7, 2009, now Zero miles apart (literally)!
