I do not know about now, but my wife had to take everything she had at the interview, and more, as there must be at least two other forms filled out, and make sure your NSO birth cert. is the orginal, as the embassy kept my wife's orginal, and we had to go get another one.,.,..,

I alos do not think you can attend without your passport, as your visa is not in it!

In Cebu, there is no schedule, it is first come first serve, my wife got there at 3:00 am to make sure she got in as they only take about 20 per day.

I am sure someone has had a more recent experience, as ours was 2013, April.

Yes you can attend the CFO. Without your passport, I did it last Wednesday, but you have to go back for sticker when your passport is available. Carry 2 ID, cenomar, birth cert, if you are married carry your marriage cert. also bring some evidence of your ongoing relationship.

Do not forget the copy of your appointment from US embassy because it will serve as your proof that the embassy took your passport .

Print and bring your online registration form with you if you booked at CFO online.

Payment is 400 pesos.

I had my interview last Tuesday 27 of May and yes bring original copy of birth cert and Cenomar.

Per VJs you have to carry more birth cert in USA because you are going to need them there.

Do you have any updates on your CEAC status? Mine has no movement since the 22nd. :crying:

My fiance had the copy of my birth certificate. Do they check it once arrived at USA airport?

And for the guidance counseling form , you have to fill out the form in CFO, they have the form and all you need is to fill out properly and understand all the questions asked. The counselor will have a 1x1 interview with you and she might ask more evidence of the relationship, then there's a group discussion too. After that you will receive your certificate at the ground floor, if the counselor is not satisfied she will ask more evidence and she might let you come back, some of the girls that I had the counseling last Wednesday, didn't receive their certificate and I don't know what is their issue.

I guess I'll be waiting for my passport to be delivered. I just dont know when. HAHAHA!

My fiance just left awhile ago heading back to USA. We should have done the CFO before. :(

About the birth cert, will they get it once landed at the airport or will submit it for AOS?

When you reach your POE, you don't have anything to give to the officer except that sealed

brown envelope that the embassy will give you along with your passport. They will not get your birth certificate at the time of entry, But, you need to bring at least the NSO birth

certificate as many copies as you want, as you might need it while here in US when applying, etc, etc.. It would be a nice idea to bring it with you already, though you can order it

online when you're here in US already, but will cost you more $$$

guidance and counseling form can be filled out at CFO..

You only need one birth certificate here in the U.S.

I know you enjoy telling folks how many copies of the BC to bring to the states, but........... ONE is a wrong answer, at least not true if you want to keep one for their own use. You need to stay a little more current on requirements of different entities, as an original BC is asked for when completing ROM. Best make notes 2078.gif

Procedure and Requirements:

1. Four (4) original duly accomplished Report of Marriage Contracted Abroad form signed by husband and the wife.

a. Four (4) identical colored photographs of the husband and the wife, 1.77 in x 1.37 in, plain white background, taken within six months before the date of application, (Blurred or low quality photos are not accepted).

b. One (1) original or certified true copy and four (4) photocopies of the Marriage Certificate or Contract Extended Form (Original will be returned).
