I was on a K-1 Visa on 2014.

 

 

I-751 Timeline California Service Center:

 

  • Sent Packet: July 03,2017
  • NOA 1 Receipt Date: July 05,2017
  • NOA 2 Receipt Date: July 14,2017
  • Biometrics: August 02, 2017
  • Case Received at My Local Office - No Mail Notice- Just Online Status: February 26,2018
  • I-551 Stamp: August 13, 2018
  • 18 Months Extension Letter Receipt Date: August 18,2018
  • 18 Months Extension Letter Received: August 25, 2018
  • New Card is being Produced: October 15, 2018
  • Case was Approved: October 16,2018
  • Card was Mailed to me: October 17,2018
  • Card was picked up by the USPS: October 18,2018
  • Card Received/on Hand: October 19,2018

Did your US traveldocs dashboard go blank? (i..e. no data), like mine did? The check visa status part says no update information on the passport number supplied. I just did a quick online chat with US traveldocs. The gentleman who helped me said the passport is still with post and it is normal for the dashboard to be blank at this time. They are doing final processing, which I suppose consists of getting the brown envelope together and packing it with the passport. He would not put a time frame on anything, but hey, big surprise. I understand typical time frame is 5 days, although it can go out to 10 days. I will look on Friday. If you find something on yours sooner let me know and I will take a look at mine

The online reservation for CFO is mandatory. They also have an online registration form but that is optional. You can print that one out or you can fill out their forms in pen when you get there.

Just make sure you have all the outside documents they want. They are hell on that and will deny you if you don't have it all.

Mine one is on hold, I received another 221(g) along with my passport. They need more documents from me.

The info I Provided before was accurate to my experience. I received the passport back with a 221(g).

REMEMBER : I am talking about US Consulate NEW DELHI. It's different here. Philppines people are lucky compared to Indians

True to an extent, but we get 221(g) just like you do for missing or incorrect documents.

I don't think anyone is questioning the accuracy of your experience and statement. I just find it a little puzzling that you chose to provide information about the process of a particular US Embassy in India inside the Philippine forum.

I personally think it's better to get your passport back with a 221g as you don't have to cancel other travel plans because the embassy has your passport while waiting for your docs.
