I got married on may 20th of this year in the Philippines.I am back in the USA now and will like to start the I-30 application process. I have found a lot of info on this site, but I do have one question I hope someone could answer for me.I had to fly back to the States before the marriage got register. I have a copy of the marriage certificate sign by everyone, but there is no register number can I send that in with the I-130 packet. Are should I try to get a copy of the marriage certificate from the LCR with the register number ? I do not how easy that will be. My wife lives in Manila, but we got married in president Garcia Bohol. I do know my wife will need the nso copy later for her interview, and I can order that online. But I heard that could take 6 months for the nso.I will like to start the process before then

Thanks to anyone that may be able to answer this

Is what you have a duplicate of the marriage contract? You need a certified true copy from the LCR. You can get the NSO copy of the marriage contract much faster than 6 months if you ask for Advanced Endorsement and pay extra at the LCR.

Thank both of you for your answer, however i am already back in the united states and my wife is back in manila.we got married in pres garcia bohol. will that be the local civil register I need to contact? or the one in manila. My wife parents and some of her family lives in bohol, where we got married. Do you think they could ask the civil register there for advance endorsment and i could send them the money to pay it
