Hi! Do any of you guys know the phone number of CSC? I'm taking the advice of the good people here at VJ to have my fiance' contact the service center so he can explain our delay of submission of the document .....FYI: the reason for our delay is that our useless lawyer didn't inform us of the RFE! :crying: ....it's been 10 months now since we filed our petition :crying:

Thanks in advance!

Try 1-800-375-5283. I think this is a customer service number for general uscis information, so they might not have the answers you need, but should at least, I think, be able to point you in the right direction. Not sure, I've never tried it, but this is the number i got from the uscis website. Maybe others can give you more specific information. Good luck! :)

Hi wife2be :)

Call the number ladykelia has given you. Check my signature - I had almost the same problem. Our useless lawyer never forwarded RFE documents we sent her. Well, we got rid of her and did it ourselves.

I was lucky (don't ask me why, unless Someone was watching over our process!) to have decent customer service staff on USCIS phone. I called twice. I could talk, ask questions and I was given specific, helpful answers! Even if the second person I talked to told me that she wasn't supposed to tell me anything because I am beneficiary. Apparently only petitioner can call. Well... she still talked to me!!!!

Fill in your timeline asap. Many people here know a lot and will be able to help you, but it is good to have your timeline so others can understand your situation better. I can only share my experience. Did you ever get your WAC number? Do you check your status online?

This is how I solved our problem: Called the 1800 number, explained that our lawyer had "disappeared" on us and asked what to do. I was first told the lawyer had to send a letter saying she was not on our case any more. Well, we couldn't contact her so I was told: then the petitioner writes it requesting that he be contact person for our case. We also never received the "blue form" which is official RFE cover letter with details of what is needed. We went only by what lawyer told us. Looks like at least that was complete, as there was no second RFE.

So, Aaron (USC) made Infopass appt. at SF Office and took all docs for a check there with the letter of explanation. It was all ok, but the PO Box was overlooked so Aaron sent it all to general PP Box. In my second call to 1800 number I was given correct PO Box address, Aaron resent everything and few days later we were approved. Another sweet VJ member helped as to markings on the envelope for RFE return since we didnt' have original envelope that CSC sends out.

Well, it all worked out great. If you wish, I can PM you our cover letter just as a sample/idea. Let me know.

Correct PO box for rfe is

US Citizenship and Immigration Services

California Service Centre

PO Box 10590

Laguna Niguel CA 92607-1590

I'm sure someone will correct me if needed. And someone will know abt time limits, if any.

PS: Apologies for being so long winded!

USCIS only gives out one costumer service number. Numbers to the indivisual centers are not available. I see the number has already been posted so good luck. Be prepared to be on hold for a very long time. I have called twice and even though I was told I would wait approximately 20-30 minutes, each time was over an hour.
