Requesting K1 Visa Interview in Native Country not Current Residence

Hello,

My fiancee is from Taiwan and working in China. She will be moving back to Taiwan when her contract ends or when she receives her packet. How do I fill out the i-129f to ensure that her interview is in Taiwan? I have read several posts of people requesting the interview location be in native country not their current residence and the interview location being the country of their current residence.

Her household registration is at her moms house in Taiwan, and she has been paying Taiwan taxes while working in China. She also owns a small apartment in Taiwan that she has been paying her fees on. Can she claim a Taiwan residence or does it have to be her China Residence? Would it help if I wrote an additional letter on the i-129f application stating the importance of having the interview in Taiwan?

Thank you

Use her Taiwan address and list Taiwan as the consulate she will apply for the K-1 visa at.

Exactly what we did. Candy lived in Hong Kong at the time and her native land is Philippines. It worked fine. Everytnig went to Manila.
