I'm glad to read so many stories on here and other people's frustrations with the TSC processing times. We are prepared to wait five months, but if it's much longer than that, it will be pretty upsetting.

We have an NOA1 date of May 5. The following is the message that has been up when I track our file on the USCIS website. Is this standard?

On May 2, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

Just trying to make sure I shouldn't call and check, because I'm fighting the urge! Thanks again for sharing stories and answering questions.

Our NOA1 was on May 31, when I track our file on USCIS I get the same message :

On June 2, 2014, your Alien Registration Number was changed relating to your I129F, PETITION FOR FIANCE(E). Please check our website at www.uscis.gov for further updates on your case. Please wait until the end of normal processing time before calling customer service at 1-800-375-5283 for live assistance.

So I think that is standard message they put on the site, there is still no need to call them.

It is almost July, a month has passed. How are you doing? We still have to wait for four months but hoping we will get approve soon. :dancing:

Heyhey! We're actually waiting for your updates haha you guys are our basis since we almost have the same timeline.

It's been a month already and still no good news. I guess we really need to wait for the 5-month processing at TSC. Sad but true

Yes, don't worry. ARN change notification on website or mail is not that important, some say it's just a glitch and some say USCIS website doesn't update sometimes. Some people get ARN change a week before their approval and some get it changed a day after NOA1.

Thank you for the reply...Oh god... I've just read the last posts in the December 2014 fillers forums and I am shocked. I cant believe TSC is moving so slow. They have been working on December fillers for ages now.

In 2013, when California had an overload of applications, they have transferred a lot of files to Texas.

I really dont understand why they are not doing that again???

It's heartbreaking to wait 7 months for the very first approval just cause we are unlucky to belong to TSC ... when the other service centers process the applications in less than a month.

Plus this situation has been going on for a while now, doesn't anyone care? ...

Hey guys, were prepping a letter for Mike's congressman/senator. It's approaching or 5 month mark and were unprepared to wait around unnecessarily.

Can anyone offer any suggestions on what points to make regarding the TSC situation?

Im shocked to say the least and somewhat sceptical. It was only 45 days and im at tsc!!! They are no longer expediting in the Philippines. I asked and its a very small area that was heavily impacted and she is not from there.Im scared to even tell her thinking maybe its a mistake because I went from no case found on the case status check to approved. So im praying it true and you guys dont have a long wait now. When I call the lady at uscis told me to expect 5 months so I did nothing specialonly prayer.

You're very lucky then. As of April tsc has nearly 10000 petitions waiting & approved 971. CSC had around 2800 & approved like, 30 less than they received. Something needs to be done about this mess.

I am the petitioner.

Hi Julie+Matt -- May I ask where you got those numbers? I was planning to write to my senator this week to bring attention to this issue. I need current official statistics to make a strong case. Please let me know. Perhaps you could send me a weblink? I looked on USCIS website but I am unable to find those sorts of numbers.
