It will take 7 months, but don't worry, you will get a letter extending your green card in a week or so after you send in the materials that is good for a year, so you are good to go! James

I filed at Texas Service Centre at the end of July 2006, Letter of extension received within a couple of weeks after, and biometrics appointment end of August. Nothing else yet - I'm assuming it'll be at least another month before I hear further.

congratulations! Good to know that TSC is actually processing our cases ^_^ . I just wish it doesnt take them so long. The wait time is just ridiculous. Nonetheless, ur one step closer to being a citizen. Guess that's the ultimate end to all this immigration process we all have to go through.

God Bless,

Cristina

I must have said the magic words last night with my last post, as there was a case status email waiting for us this morning saying that that my husband's new card had been ordered and he should receive it within 30 days!:dance:

Next stop on the Immigration Train: N-400

Annatenna, yours should be any day now!!
