Is writing in cursive looking - like this?

And writing in block letters - LIKE THIS?

Or is the cursive writing you're talking about is some special caligraphy? :huh:

They both passed :dancing::dancing::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance::dance:

Will know more in a few hours when they get back from Memphis TN

Give congrats to the boys. And take a willow switch to the older one for being so cocky to. :lol:

I can't tell what that first one says, is that some weird 3rd world alphabet?

I told hubs that I was gonna prepare for theory exam for driving over next week in Vermont and he told me he almost failed it first time and tried to tell me it is hard especially since I am a foreigner...quieted him down pretty fast though. I don't think it is that difficult...

good luck on his GED ....I am sure it will be fine :)

Tell your Hubs that feisty toothy passed her driving test in first try. And I was already driving on the highway with learner's permit.

And if a Singapurrean headhuntress can pass the test, even a half wit hillbilly from Ohio can pass it.

Every family seems to need at least one child that is a pain. That must suck for parents with one child :lol:

interesting...so the system is the same as in the Czech Republic....8th grade (or 9th) ....you leave primary school and if you had good grades you get tested like mad to get into the good gymnasiums or private business schools ...that is only for kids who do well in school....gymnasium is usually University preparation so it is very difficult and selective while all the rest 8th graders/9th graders leave for trade (am i using the right term ?) schools and usually do not learn much in the way of math, geography, history etc...they learn the trade they decide to go into....like butchery (example).

makes sense then...definitely good luck to him and I hope he passes despite not having studied :) what's the first part of the GED in ?

He could have gone to gymnasium, but just didn't have the desire or the push at home to do it. His English skills are exemplary compared to those with similar educations. You'd think he had studied it at uni or something.

It is very frustrating because he is clearly intelligent enough, but when it came to taking an essay writing class at the community college here (a non-credit remedial class before English 101), he had absolutely no idea how to compose an essay, even in Danish. He had basically never written one before, and I tried not to think, for goodness sake, this is something 4th graders can do, why did no one make you do this?

I'm actually not sure what today's is because we've had to reschedule them a few times. I try not to ask so he isn't stressed.
