i was refused a student visa in lahore us consulate 19 years back. i am in administrative process from 2 years.my catgry is CR1 .I filled ds230 3 times.but now embassy ask my fresh documents ds260 and call me for oath and finger prints.my administrative process is finished it seems.
Now in ds260 application they ask for previous visa refusal. if i click yes may be some contradiction comes in my living address .i really do nt know what i was put on 19 year back..
How long us embassy maintain record?should i click yes.because i put on ds230 i am living on this address since birth.but i little remember 19 years back i was put i am doing job on other city.if i click yes may be they put record or may be not.what should i do?

will eembassy goes in detail what i tells in visa forms 19 years back or they save the forms or record in detail. ?

Doesn't matter how far back you have to list it.

You will just have to face that contradiction but you must be honest. And its where you have lived since age of 16 years don't put the daye since your birth. In fact I think the DS-260 auto-populates that date if not the month year you turned 16. If you lived no where else than thats the only police certificate you have to worry about.

And it doesn't matter how long they keep records. Click Yes you have no choice but to.

If it comes up at interview just explain. But you should know all places you lived at since 16 years old yes.
