I am now on my last step on my K1 visa journey and this last step will be the seminar but it was giving me a hard time *sigh* i always got the error that states "Please indicate your fiancé(e)'s / spouse's / partner's Country of Citizenship."

though I already selected it. Tried it over a hundred times but still I cannot proceed on scheduling because of that. Anyone experiencing this now? I really need to get a schedule for Commission on Filipinos Overseas (CFO)

We get the pleasure ot tackling the new website next Tuesday. Hope they have it fixed by then. Technkicla glitches like that usually get fixed in one day.

Best bet is to try agian tomorrow.

BTW I did test it out last week, and that glitch did not happen to me.

I checked and tried the CFO's online pre-registration site, seems to be working right now. (I did not continue, of course.)

Did you select "AMERICAN" in the citizenship on the first step of the pre-registration? If it still doesn't work, you might just give them a call to inquire tomorrow morning, I guess.

By the way, I was informed that you will need to upload a digital photo in the course of the onine pre-registration, similar to DS-160's requirement.

yup i was able to accomplish pre registration without any problem,i also selected there my fiance's citizenship but the link from my mail that they sent for scheduling was the one with system error, there's a repeat question about fiance's citizenship but everytime i select the answer and give it a go it says that i didnt put my fiance's citizenship. wherein i tried it selecting many times

We will be using it on Tuesday May 20. I will let you all know how we made out.

alright thank you but i suggest that you book your appointment as soon as possible cause the last date that i saw with available date was for May 22, that was yesterday.. i should have selected it before the system error occurs, my bad.

you may opted to do it now because as i have said slots were very limited, just to check if your target date was still available anyway your appointment would not be completed/confirmed if you haven't upload your picture there just like in DS 160 :) let me know what happened :))

Thanks for the heads up on the dates. I just went on and succeeded at grabbing May 21.

Here is how I got it to work: At first it was giving me the same error regarding country of citizenship. Then I decided to try a fresh email address I never used on the system before. I don't know if that was the difference that made the difference, but it worked. At first it gave some very technical error, but I tried it again and this time it worked.

If you only have one email, try it anyway. If you get that error again and again, try your fiance's email and see if that works.

Anyway I have my appointment now.
