does nvc send you an email once they have reviewed your aos?

They will only send an email informing that they have already completed reviewing your case after they have reviewed both the AOS and IV packages.

IMO, calling them gets a faster response.

They will send you an email if they are not satisfied with your AOS package.

Case complete only comes after reviewing both the AOS and Civil Documents packages. This question is about the AOS package. You'll only get an email about the AOS package, if they have a problem with it. That email would contain what NVC calls a checklist cover letter, that explains what is needed using a "checklist".

Yes, if you want to find out faster then the only way to find out faster would be calling them after 13-15 Business days after you the date they have recieved your AOS package. The representative would know the information regarding your case earlier then you get to find out through email. So just be proactive and call them. Good Luck
