Child of K-1 Visa holder entering USA at a later date

Hopefully my fiance will be able to travel to the U.S. next month. She just has her interview yet to go at the Embassy. My question is whether her kids HAVE to travel with her and enter the United States at the same time or is it possible for them to travel a month later. They are 16 and 17 years old, so it is not a problem for them to travel on their own normally.

I would also like to find out how long a K-1 Visa entrant who has applied for adjustment of status has to stay in the United States before they can begin to travel internationally again?

Can somebody who really factually knows the answers these questions please help me? Thank you!

1. many times, all of the visa packets are put together into one packet at the Embassy after the interview - so when she is at the embassy iv unit on interview, talking with the Vice-Consul, ask that the visa packets be seperated, noting different travel dates. If this doesn't happen - expect big trouble at the POE when the K-2 kids come through, as they not have any visa packet to hand over - the visa stamp in the passport isn't enough.

2. Kids can travel with the AP/EAD combo card and their passport - usually gotten 90 to 110 days after applying for adjustment of status. We've a guide on what to do for this filing - take a look in the GUIDES section. But that's only 1 piece of the calendar - you have to fill in the variable bits, ie:

1. POE date

2. AOS Filing Date - it's usually 90 to 110 days past this, that the AP/EAD combo cards arrive.

Sometimes my language usage seems confusing - please feel free to 'read it twice', just in case !
Ya know, you can find the answer to your question with the advanced search tool, when using a PC? Ditch the handphone, come back later on a PC, and try again.

In my case, I got my AP/EAD approval 62 days after filing (together with AOS); got the combo card in the mail in less than a week. Traveled a few days after, then went back to the US in about 4 weeks.
