Can someone please clarify my doubt. My yearly salary is xxx. But on my W2 its 2k more than my base salary because of the quarterly bonuses. So am confused, should my employment letter state my base salary or the amount on 2013 W2.

I am concerned because my base salary is $300 short to sponsor, but with my bonuses and the amount on my W2 i qualify. So I am confused .Thankyou for any helps.

Use the Gross Income from that line on your ITR.

Sri, I never really answered your question. The Employment letter would be best to state that you are employed full time and have an annual base salary of X plus the opportunity to have bonuses..

Your Gross Income from your last tax return would be the income you would use on the 134 form.
